I was lucky enough to be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the premier party for The American Idol Experience, which is a new “ride” at the park. The premier party featured a parade of past Idols. It. Was. Awesome. I got to see Carrie Underwood (!!!! I CAN NOW DIE!!!!), Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul, Sanjaya, Rubin, David Cook, David Archuletta, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Hicks, Justin Guarini, and about 20 more. There were 30 people in the parade from past American Idol Seasons. It was big pimpin! Here are a few pictures of the bigger name people that were there.

In an effort to save a few bucks for some early happy hours throughout vacay, boyf and I brought along some snacks for our days at the parks. We figured we could have some sort of bar for breakfast, crackers and such for lunch and pretty much only have to buy dinner. It worked out really well. He stocked up on some Clif Bars, and I brought along a bunch of Luna Bars to try. Along with some cheese and crackers, trail mix, and a few other treats we were all set and didn’t spend that much on food. We did however spend a lot on wine and beer, but that will be another post! As you can see, I brought Caramel Nut Brownie, Chocolate Raspberry, Iced Oatmeal Rasin and Mint Chocolate Tea Cakes. They were all pretty good. Some of them I may have to try again because they got a little smushed in my back back and they may not have been in their top quality condition. I think my favorite were the tea cakes! They were a great breakfast treat and kept me going most of the morning. Walking around the parks from 8am to 11pm can take lots out of you! But I’m not complaining because I was at Disney!
Disney loves their 3-D glasses for rides/shows! Did you ever notice how many different things there are to do at Disney with 3-D glasses? I noticed the trend early on. 3D shows include; Its A Bugs Life, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Toy Story Midway Mania, Muppet Vision 3D AND Mickey’s Phiharmagic. I love those kind of shows at Disney, they are so fun. Here are some pictures of us sporting the 3D love. I think we look fierce.
I mentioned a week or so ago that I participated in the Valentine’s Day Blogger Exchange that Lee organized. Jackson and I sent out a package to Maddy at Bake, Pray, Love, which you can check out here. I hope she liked all I sent! When I came home yesterday I had a package waiting for me! I got my secret cupid from Tiffany at Miss Tiffie Munches. I got some chocolate covered marshmallows (which I ripped into as soon as I saw them~! SO GOOD~), Goji Bar, floating candles, chocolate pillow cookies and some candy. Jackson also got some fabulous peanut butter doggie treats, which he LOVES. Thank you so much Tiffany!
