My First Green Monster

This morning I had my very first green monster. Angela has totally inspired me to try it, and it was REALLY GOOD. I was pleasantly surprised. When I had drank all of it, I was actually sad it was over. I wanted more.

I used about 3 cups of baby spinach, 1 cup almond breeze, 1 banana and about 2 tbsp of flax seeds.

It was so tasty. This was also my first time trying almond breeze, and it was so tasty. I know spinach is SO BEYOND good for you, so I am going to try to make one of these every day.

I didn’t juice this in my juicer, I just used the regular old blender and it made everything really creamy. It juiced down very quickly and easily. Seriously, don’t get the green scare you. It’s so yummy and good for you! Trust me! Try it out!

YAY!!! I love this! :) Your email made me smile so much. Congrats to you for making such AWESOME changes in your life!

I know what you mean about people not being to get over the GREEN colour. That is the biggest barrier to people trying it!

yummy stuff….be careful with too much spinach, though, as it can deplete calcium from your bones & teeth (yikes!) Other greens are just as good, if not better for you then spinach ;) When EATING spinach, add fats like olive oil or nuts to counteract the oxalic acid (the same goes for swiss chard and beet greens). Drink up!
