Yesterday during my shopping extravaganza, I happened to stumble into DSW, which I have a HUGE weakness for. Not only was it a DOUBLE POINTS day, but they also had my running sneakers, on sale! <insert happy dance here> I have been telling myself I needed to go get new sneaks within the next few weeks. What is it, every 300 –400 miles or so, get new running shoes? I think that’s right. Either way, these babies usually run around $100, but I managed to get them for about half off. WINNER!
I run in Asics GT-2130. I have really high arches and I believe these are supposed to help with the support in that region. I went to Potomac River Running Co., and they had me walk on a treadmill and they ‘evaluated’ my walking/running style and told me which shoes were a good fit.
I will now use the old ones strictly for classes at the gym or any other activity that requires sneakers, but now I have separate ones specifically for running! YAY!
Here they are! Aren’t they beaut’s!!? They are so white and shiny and NEW! I heart them! I loved my yellow ones before (since yellow is my happy color), but I think I had Villanova Fever at DSW yesterday and I went with the blue to shake things up!
I am so excited to try them out later this week!

i have those same ones! 2 pairs too haha. in diff colors. i have high arches too, and have bought inserts and they feel SO good when i run! love it
