Is it crazy to sign up for two different races in the same month? Last week, I signed up for the Zooma Half Marathon in Annapolis on May 31. Today I am signing up for the Broad Street 10 Miler Run in Philadelphia on May 3. This running stuff is addicting. I am so excited. I have been reading all around online about how much fun the Broad Street Run is and I can’t wait to experience it myself. It is supposed to be a really fast route. There is no limit to number of participants. I believe I heard they are expecting around 25,000 runners. I hope I don’t get trampled! I am excited to train the next two weeks for this run, and I feel it will give me an idea of where I stand for the Half Marathon and then I will have a month to prepare for that. Super exciting! Yay running!

Racing is totally addictive.
There are several of us running the Zooma 10K – you, me, athlEAT, Daily Goods. We should meet up at some point after the race.
I’m running it too!!
this race is AWESOME, so incredible, rock it
I am running Broad Street too! My first race over a 5K, and i’m kind of nervous, looking at the finishing times from last year…i at first figured, “with 20,000 plus runners there’s no WAY i can come in last!” but then i looked at the times from ’08 and um, i might be among the last straglers….this doesn’t deter me however! i really am doing it as a challenge to myself.
