Ok, THATs a TON of spinach! Seriously. But it was also a fabulous deal. I got that ginormous bag of spinach for $5! Five bucks! Are you kidding me?! Green Monsters all around baby! The damn bag is bigger than Jackson! I love it! I hope I can eat it all!

Home Free Treats are organic cookies and cakes made for people with allergies. The founder, Jill Robbins, is a mom who wanted children with allergies to be included in social occasions where there are sweet treats! They are:
- Peanut Free
- Tree Nut Free
- Egg Free
- Dairy Free
Home Free Treats also donates a portion of its profits to organizations that provide food allergy research and education. I love that!
So far, I have tried the two individual cookies. They are yummy! The chocolate chip cookie was classic. I can’t believe they are made with no egg or dairy! This cookie has 190 calories and 8 grams of fat, which some would consider a lot. It also has 10 grams of whole grain, no GMO’s and no trans fat. I don’t know about you, but I don’t mind so much eating something that is higher in calories/fat if i know its made with natural ingredients. This cookie was fantastic!
Next up I tried the Brownie Chip cookie. It was very chocolate-y! It tasted like a brownie, but with the texture of a cookie. Very creative! As you can see from the picture below, these cookies are pretty big too! You get a lot of bang for your buck! If you know someone with allergies, these are a great option or if you just want a great cookie, check out Home Free Treats!
Today was a much better day than yesterday, that’s for sure! I got my hair did, ran some other errands, and did my laundry! Crazy Thursday night over here! At least I get to watch So You Think You Can Dance while I launder!
The lovely folks over at Win Detergent sent me something to deal with my stinky clothes post running/working out! What a good idea! A detergent specifically for your workout clothes. If you think about it, you wear and sweat in your running/gym clothes so much differently, and they get so much more dirty than clothes you wear on a daily basis to the mall or a job. It just makes sense to wash your workout clothes differently with more of a target to the bacteria that builds up. I love the little note Tara sent me along with the detergent. It rhymes!
Here is why you need Win:
Most liquid detergents do not target embedded odors and even after gym clothes are washed, these odors stay entrenched in the fibers. After a few workouts, even the best high tech fabrics typically develop a musty odor. This is caused by bacteria attracted to sweat soaked fabric.
How Win Works:
Using a unique technology, Win Detergent’s scientifically designed super oxygenated system directly targets offensive odors and stains. This powerful oxy cleaning technology eliminates the embedded sweat molecules and odors that overwhelm the fabric. Simultaneously, these same ingredients also react with soil and organic materials causing them to either decolorize or disintegrate. Once in a soluble form after oxidization, dirt and odors easily wash away
PS – I love this picture of Jackson in the background! What a little boy!
I used Win on my workout clothes from this week, specifically with my clothes from my 12 mile run in mind. They all came out smelling great and feeling fresh and clean. I think this is a great product to use, especially on nice workout gear because that stuff gets expensive, and washing it in the right product designed for those types of clothes, will keep them nicer longer!

You have to love that Life’s What You Make It Miley Cyrus song? Am I a freak/teeny-bopper for just admitting I embrace some of her songs? Whatever! N*SYNC For Life is pretty much my life motto! I was having a very rough, emotionally draining day today. There is a lot going on in my life right now that is just out of my control, yet in my control and unknowing and unyielding and I am having a rough time with it. It’s complicated, but songs like that speak to me sometimes. I went out for my 30 minute easy run (sticking to my training schedule) and that song made me feel a lot better. I am one of those people that the lyrics always speak to me. If I like the lyrics, and I can relate to the song, it makes it that much better for me. Also, its so funny to watch my different paces while running when different songs come on. Miley’s song totally makes me pick up my pace, while others slow me down. I do it without even realize I am doing it, until I look down at my Garmin and the pace is so different from what I think I am actually doing.
I came home from my run and did Polly’s Yoga for Yummy Abs. I really liked it. I very much enjoy the quick and to the point 10 minute videos. I had to do the video, however, with Jackson try to lick the sweat off me. I am down on the mat, doing the poses, and he is licking the bottom of my leg, and the top of my head when I am laying down. It is hard to concentrate with a puppy trying to give you love!
