Ok, so I made another attempt to run in the morning this weekend. I thought Saturday morning would be perfect. Boyf I knew would sleep in for a while and I knew I could get up and get an awesome workout in and then feel great the rest of the day. Not exactly. I woke up at 7:00am from my internal clock. I get up around 5:30 everyday so 7:00 am rocks my world! It’s sad but true. So I get up, change and hit the pavement.
Mile #1, feeling good and proud I woke up to get in a great run. I am planning how far I can go, and enjoying it.
Mile #2, everything is going well. I picture Boyf in my head still sleeping under the covers, and I am happy he gets to enjoy sleeping in, and I am getting a solid run in.
Mile #2.5 PAIN. Right under my right side ribcage. Piercing pain. I must stop due to the pain, and I NEVER STOP. Also, my left leg was sore/hurting as well.
Sadness for me. I had to push in where it hurt to make the pain bearable, and I limped home. I was so pissed off. I don’t know what it was. I came home to lay down and iced my leg and felt better after a while. I didn’t eat anything before the run, so I am not sure if that was it, but I wasn’t hungry, so I don’t know. I took off today (Sunday) and I hope to get back into my swing of things tomorrow. So frustrating. Maybe I am just not meant to run in the a.m.

At least you got out there and tried. I get up every weekday morning at 4 am so sleeping in for me is 7am as well. Crazy huh. People tell me all the time how that is not really sleeping in.
