Today, I got up and made my green monster as usual. Standard Igngredients: 3-4 cups spinach, 1 cup almond milk, 1 banana and my mix of chia seeds, flax seeds and wheatberries. YUM! Definately my favorite way to start the day is with a green monster in hand. Check out Angela’s Green Monster Movement Shirts. I love them!
The tragic part about my green monster morning ritual was that my blender took a turn for the worse. I knew he was on his last legs, but today might be his last day in working order. I noticed a green dripping coming from the bottom of the blender when I washed it every day. It is seriously leaking. Half my monster comes out the bottom before I am able to pour it into a glass.
Tear. Look how gross that is! My blender is bleending green monster! YUCK! I don’t really think I can use it anymore. It is as old as the hills, but it had a good fulfilling life. It did the job every morning up until now, so I am ok with that. Luckily, my parents got me a brand new blender for my birthday! Woohoo! I haven’t busted it out yet, as I am saving it for my ‘offical’ move up to Philly next week (7 days, but whose counting?!).
Also, I have to give a huge Congratulations Shout out to my friend Jill and her fiance A.J.! They got engaged last night (on his birthday!) and I am so happy for both of them. They are my two lawyerly friends, and Jill and I lived together in Conshohocken last year. It was so much fun! Roommate love! She is also one of the people I stalked into going to the Britney concert with me in Philadelphia in August! We are going to have so much fun. And Jill, we shall celebrate your engagement when I get up there next week! Check out the rock – A.J. did awesome!
