TSL Gift Exchange

Seriously the blog love around here is incredible. I am so happy to have joined the blog community. It is such a welcoming, happy, fun place to be! I participated in The Simple Life Challenge that Bobbi had started in May. It was a lot of fun and made you step back and embrace the simpler side of things – such as taking more public transportation, eating out less and being frugal. It was a fun month, and it ended with  presents!

I got ‘buddied’ up with the fabulous Megan. It’s great how you meet new people from stuff like this! She sent me the best package ever! Check out this loot – Embrace the pink!moving 025

Check out these soaps Megan made me. They are so cute! They are going to be my ‘fancy soaps’ which no one is allowed to use, only stare at! They smell good too! I wish I knew how to make soap! I love the color and the fun detail! moving 027

In the true spirit of the TSL Challenge, she also sent me a ton of great coupons! Such a nice thought! I can’t wait to use them!moving 028

And then she shared with me some of her favorite recipes! I love how cute these recipe cards are! Another great gift. Megan gave me recipe’s for: Marinated Ginger Chicken, Zucchini Brownies, Artichoke Dip and Bread Dough for Pizza Cinnamon Rolls! Yum Yum!moving 031

Seriously, how awesome is this frame? I love it! Jackson loves it! We all love it! It is so cute! I can’t wait to find a perfect picture to go in there. Jackson is pretty much a stud muffin who rocks any photo taken of him, so there are just so many to choose from! moving 032

Thank you so much Megan! I love all the stuff. You are so creative and thoughtful! Best gift exchange ever!

haha I'm glad you liked the gift! And that you took pictures, I hope it's okay that I steal them, because I forgot to take some before I sent it off! (I'll credit you with them 🙂 ) anywho, I get all my soaping ideas (mostly) from Annemarie over at soapqueen.blogspot.com She did a tutorial for those soaps awhile ago, and I got the "L" for a bridal shower for my good friend, so it worked out perfectly!

I'm so glad you liked it, I love sending packages to people and making their day!
