Today I switched things up a bit and had some green monster love in the afternoon with my lunch. It was nice to have it mid day, and I have become so used to drinking them first thing in the morning it was something I looked forward to. Here is my afternoon green monster in all its glory:
I used 3-4 cups baby spinach, 1 banana, 1 cup almond milk, chia seeds, flax seeds, wheat berries and 1 serving of chocolate whey
Just a few pre-blend pictures. Pretty, right?
Letting the blender work its magic.
How gorgeous is that?
That nice big juicy strawberry makes the green monster POP!
There was some serious yum going on in this glass. I feel like I need to shake things up in my green monster world. I have the same one everyday, and while I still love it, I feel like there is a whole world of green monster ingredient options out there. I should experience other recipes.
Any suggestions for YOUR favorite green monster?
With my fabulous GM, I made a colorful wrap for lunch. In this creation from the bottom up was: spinach, buffalo chicken, pepper jack cheese, Lightlife pepperoni, and some shredded carrots
I popped this bad boy in my toaster over, which I am madly in love with by the way, and away it went…
I love it when the ends of the wrap are crunchy. That’ to me is toaster oven perfection!
All together now.
Jackson was eyeing up my green monster. Maybe I need to find a way to make him a puppy friendly version of it! That would be fun. Any thoughts?
Jackson seriously wanted it bad! You can see he has that look in his eye. Such a great picture of him and my green monster. I love it.
Check out these awesome Stand Up And Eat Plates! I love them.

Lisa pointed me out to this – Victoria’s Secret Major League Baseball Sweatshirts. I love the Phillies one, but $54 dollars is a lot for a sweatshirt. Thoughts?
