Last night we went out for a little Dave and Busters fun! Boyf went out with his old roommate and saw Bruno and we met after the show at the new D&B in Plymouth Meeting. It just opened a few months ago and I hadn’t been there yet so was pumped to check it out.
We got a round of drinks (x2) and had some fun with the games. Mine is the Miller Light 🙂
I am all about playing the games that give out tickets, as I wanted to get a cool prize at the end of the night, but the boys were all about the video games. The spent the majority of the night like this:
Boys will be boys! They especially loved playing and competing in the basketball games, and the games where you shoot things. I enjoy playing skee ball! Here is boyf and I competing for skee ball glory:
He won, he always beats me. I always shoot in the high corners for the 100 points and the 50 points. He goes slow and steady right down the middle and racks up all the points! I will beat you next time boyf! You can count on that!
I also am a fan of the trivia game there. It is fun when you have a group of people all playing (and that game gives out the most tickets!)
Ok, I wanted to let you in on a little secret blogland - I talked boyf and his old roommate into doing Dance Dance Revolution! Haha! I couldn’t believe they agreed. It must have been the beers! I do have a top secret video of them doing their dance off, I am not sure if I can release that to the public. We shall see. If you want to see it, leave a comment to help me talk boyf into it. Its pretty silly. They got pretty into it. Makes me laugh thinking about it.
We ended up with a bunch of tickets. Here is me playing around with them. I think we had about 680 something. We did good.
I wish I could say we got something cool with our winnings, but it was the end of the night and we were pretty tired and didn’t feel like standing around picking out stuff, so we just grabbed some candy and called it even. I really was in the mood for something sweet (well, I kind of always am) so it was perfect for me.
Here is me having some fun with the tickets. Don’t you love the cross-eyed look? Silly times!
Have you ever been to Dave and Busters? I love playing games like I did when I was a kid. It was so much fun back then, and its still fun to do now. I totally am a kid at heart!
