Lightlife Pizza Time

After my recent visit to Whole Foods last week, I picked up some new Lightlife products to try, and today I busted some out for lunch! Lightlife sent me some amazing free coupons to test out their products, and I was more than willing to comply!

For lunch today I decided to try out the Smart Deli Pepperoni. You can have 13 slices of this pepperoni and it would only be 50 calories! How amazing is that?! There is also 9 grams of protein in each serving.Brinkley Pictures 010

These are veggie protein slices, low in far, cholesterol free and saturated fat free. This is SO much better for you than regular pepperoni, and it tastes really good!

I also like the fact that Lightlife contributes 5% of its profits to organizations that work to protect children, the environment and human rights. I enjoy companies that give back, don’t you?

I paired the pepperoni with pepper jack cheese, which gives it a little kick and a Rudi’s Organic Bakery  wrap (review to come!)

Did I mention I heart my new toaster oven? Seriously, all the new kitchen appliances I have been getting are taking over the kitchen. I think boyfriend is a little overwhelmed by all the gadgets I need in the kitchen! Haha.

I love it when the cheese bubbles. That’s when you know its ready!

I LOVED the pepperoni. I haven’t really tried many ‘vegetarian protein’ products, but I really liked this one. I can’t wait to add it to sandwiches or just eat it with cheese and crackers. It was very yummy! The pepper jack cheese gave it an extra kick. I love spicy!

Anyone else ever try Lightlife products? Let me know what you think. This was easy to throw together for a quick and tasty lunch!
