Post shopping yesterday, the bride and I sat back and relaxed for a few. Is it bad this morning we both woke up and are sore from shopping? Ha ha. Its hard work lugging around all those bags! We were out there for like 6 hours! That’s devotion!
The bride brought boyf and I some wine as a house warming present, so we busted that open. It was quite delightful.
The bride also bought some Raspberry Honey Mustard Dip when we were shopping, and we busted into that too. So yummy! Have you ever had this stuff? Its really tasty.
For dinner we headed over to the Manayunk Brew Pub. The bride had never seen Manayunk before, so it was fun to show her Main Street, which is super cute. There is so much to see and do there. We started off with the Sampler of all the beers the Brew Pub makes so the bride could pick her favorite.
I love locally made beer. They are so much more fun to drink than the other stuff!
Here we are at the bar, all smiles after our shopping wins!
We emptied our Sampler and picked our favorites. I got a new beer they had, which was Golden Ale and the bride got the Bohemian Blonde. Both were super yummy.
We ordered sushi, since we wanted something light and it was really good. I never have had the sushi at the Brew Pub before, so I was pumped when the bride was in the mood for it.
We got crunchy spicy tuna, a Boston roll…
and a seaweed salad roll. All three were super yummy and the perfect amount to split. What’s your favorite sushi roll?
After we were finished with dinner, we walked down the street to Derek’s Vodka Bar. I love this place because it has huge comfy oversized seats at the bar. The seats are like couch cushions. I could sit on it all night! The bride ordered a Pomegranate Martini, and the dude brought her a Cosmo. What an awful bartender! She had never had a Cosmo before and liked it so that was good at least. I got my favorite, which is a Fun Dip Martini. Do you remember Fun Dip? That candy with the three flavors and its all sugar? That’s what it tastes like. I love it. Its so good!
Here we are with our drinks in our comfy seats!
The bartender felt bad for screwing up our drink order and brought us these blueberry shots. They were alright, nothing special.
I then proceeded to convince the bride to sign up for the Philadelphia Half Marathon with me! Woohoo! This is going to be her first half marathon, and I am super pumped she is going to run it with me. We both are doing the Disney Princess Half in March, but this is right around the corner and it is going to be so fun! She even wrote it in her planner when we have to register by and we pinky swore on it!
Who else out there is running the Philly Half?
I think the bride and I are going to go for a run, and maybe hang poolside for a bit. Maybe make it down to Rocky? We shall see. Happy Friday to all!!
See Jane Work Giveaway ends today! I shall announce a winner later! Don’t forget to enter before my next post!
