Successful Stovetop Oats

Successful Oats this morning! Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions. I used the stove this morning and even though the oats look a little bit longer, they were definitely worth it.

1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of oats for 5-6 minutes. That’s how my oats rolled. I kept stirring away, and I think that was the key. All they needed was a little love and attention!

I used what was left in my Naturally More jar. I have been dying to do this with oats! It was pretty amazing. Have you tried it?

To my fabulous stovetop oats I added strawberries, some bananas, chia seeds and flax seeds. I need a spice rack in my life. I was craving some cinnamon or something to add to this. It was surely delightful with the dregs of the peanut butter! Yum!

Clean plate club. Jackson was jealous there wasn’t any left over for him. He looked at the empty Naturally More jar almost as longingly as he looked at my green monster.    fooood 020

Happy Saturday!

Yay for stovetop oats! I agree, they're so much better than microwave oats. And I love the nut butter jar bowl–so good 🙂

Love stove top oats! You should try to make spicy oats – add Frank's hot sauce – they are savory and so good!
