Started off today bright and early with a green monster. Boyf got the groceries the other day and picked me up some spinach and bananas so I could create my favorite morning treat! It was light and lovely and also gave me the perfect energy to bike down to Philly for lab.
It was super cloudy in Philly this morning. Check out the skyline.
That’s supposed to be City Hall, but you can’t even see it because of all the fog/clouds!
After my first Biology Lab (which was complete with goggles and gloves!) I headed over to Mugshots to study. Promax sent me some samples to try so I had one as a snack. I tried the Honey Peanut bar and boy was it yummy!
Fresh-roasted peanuts and golden honey with a yogurt coating! These bad boys are awesome because:
-
20 grams of protein
-
All Natural Ingredients
-
18 Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants
-
Gluten Free
I only had half the bar and saved the other half for later because it does have 290 calories per bar. It was really yummy and it’s seriously HUGE!
While I was settling into my studies I had a pumpkin coffee. It pretty much does the same thing for me as my usual pumpkin latte, but it is less than half the price! I brought with me my NuNaturals stevia, which I always carry in my bag, but I didn’t need it because the pumpkin flavoring was sweet enough!
After an hour or so of studying, RhodeyGirl met me for lunch! I love our weekly lunches and I look forward to them every week! For lunch I got the soup and salad!
We finally got our Pumpkin Soup since last time, they were out! It was vegan and delicious. We both want to attempt to recreate it. So creamy and smooth and full of flavor. We were in heaven.
I also got a basic salad with green goddess dressing. Never had that before, but I had heard good things and it was pretty good.
Another great lunch, but now its back to the books! I have my first Biology quiz tomorrow and my first Chemistry test next week so it’s study time for me!
Don’t forget about my Nathan Hydration water bottle giveaway!

So my mom gets a pumpkin… does some vudo magic with the crock pot and makes pumpkin soup. I'm thinking that should be a future blog post on here – homemade pumpkin soup!
Only the second day of Fall, and you're having pumpkin soup? I love it. Although I feel pumpkin is too good to only be a seasonal flavor!
