Just got back from another fabulous 4 mile run. I really can feel like the biking to classes 10 miles a day 3 days a week it really making a difference. The extra cardio is great! Today I think I hit a new PR – Here are my stats:
Mile 1: 8:33 – Mile 2: 8:05 – Mile 3: 8:16 – Mile 4: 8:24
After my fabulous run, I took my computer outside and let Jackson roam around the courtyard. I get some blogging in and Jackson gets some fun time outside. Everyone wins!
While outside, I refueled with some ZICO. I love me some coconut water post running! I am thinking about signing up for the Main Line 5K tomorrow, just to get a little racing action in the mix. It’s way more fun to run with people than alone!
Check out the herb garden in my back yard! Apparently someone has planted all these different herbs in the courtyard common area for everyone to use. Here is mint, which smells AH-mazing. Possible future uses: in my tea & mojitos!
Here is some lovely Basil:
This smells very lemony, but I am not sure what it is. Thoughts or suggestions?
Some Rosemary:
There is also a bunch of tomatoes growing slowly but surely. I am not a tomato person, but they are out there.
And her is just another little reminder that Fall is here.
My GiftsForRunners.com Giveaway for a Nathan Hydration bottle ends today! Enter Enter!
And for those of you who commented yesterday on my Fork or Spoon post, here are the results: About half of you guessed I used a fork and half of you guessed I used a spoon. It looks like most of my readers use spoons! Yesterday I used a fork! One reader suggested a metal spork, which would be AWESOME! Anyone know where to find one?
Last call for the winner of the Grand Prize Zevia Giveaway! I reopened the giveaway since the original winner didn’t claim her prize and now I am still waiting to hear from the new winner. This winner comments on my blog fairly often, so if you think YOU might be the winner, check it out and get back to me. If I don’t hear back from her in the next day or two, I will open it up AGAIN! Seriously, Zevia rocks!
