My actual dinner tonight was not very exciting compared to what I had for dinner on Saturday night, so I thought I would share Saturday’s evening eats that with the everyone.
Fiancé and I had a long day of reception site shopping on Saturday.
***Side Note – I have started a Wedding Blog! It shall be revealed in the very near future!! Stay Tuned! ***
After checking out countless reception options we decided to pick up some groceries on the way home and make dinner. While dinner was in the oven fiancé and I enjoyed some Black Box Wine and cheese and crackers.
A few weeks ago I tried the Sauvignon Blanc and really loved it. I picked up some Cabernet Sauvignon this weekend and it was really good too. I am a Black Box Wine convert!
We also had Gouda cheese on crackers. Yum!
In other news, Jackson got a haircut.
For dinner, fiancé cooked up a nice big slice of salmon.
He wraps it in tin foil, adds butter and some seasoning and throws it in the oven for a while. The seasoning we added this time was some that Amazing Taste had sent me a while back. It has a natural lemon butter and dill flavor to it. We didn’t add the whole package and didn’t really taste much of the seasoning. Next time we will add more for some additional flavor!
While he was dealing with the fish, I was making a lovely side salad. It consisted of lettuce (duh) carrots, onions, peppers, cucumbers and roasted pumpkin seeds.
We also had some mashed potatoes on the side.
Yum Yum! It was a fantastic meal. I want to start buying more salmon to make on a more regular basis. It was really yummy!
What is your favorite fish/seafood dish to make?
I am not a big seafood eater, but I would like to become more knowledgeable on the subject. If you have any good meal ideas, let me know!

Fantastic meal. Jackson looks so cute!! Can't wait to follow your wedding journey. How exciting.
mmm everything looks so good! I see you have Briannas dressing, my BF LOVES that stuff, in the strawberry though, but he is obsessed with brianna's!
Jackson's haircut looks cute!
I love raw fish… yum.
I really like tilapia. It doesn't taste like much but it is awesome. I made a good one here: http://rhodeygirltests.com/2008/10/29/bsi-baked-tilapia-with-a-pear-mango-salsa/ but there are LOTS of good tilapia recipes around!
Jackson looks so cute!
I can't wait to read your wedding blog. Planning my wedding was so much fun. I love hearing about other peoples plans!
That salmon looks really good. Salmon is my favorite fish but I rarely cook it at home. I usually make shrimp if we have seafood at home.
