Fiancé and I got our apartment all decorated for Christmas! I brought all my decorations up from Virginia but we really don’t have all that much. If you recall from the tour of our apartment it ends up working out because we don’t have that much space anyways!
Exhibit A- Our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. We wanted to get a real Christmas tree for our post -Thanksgiving party but the day after Thanksgiving we went out and couldn’t find real Christmas trees anywhere! I was sad because I really wanted one, but I ended up decorating this tree, and it doesn’t look half bad (in my opinion!) It is reminiscent of Charlie Brown’s sad little tree though!
I set up a little shrine to Jackson on our ladder shelf. Jackson has a cute little stocking that Kate made for him. It’s just his size!
Jackson is excited because he knows he has been a good little boy this year and he is expecting lots of presents!
In front of our Charlie Brown tree I set up all of Jackson’s picture’s with Santa from past years! It really cracks me up when I take him every year for his picture. I am one of those crazy dog owners, that dresses up their pet and takes them to seasonal events and I am cool with it! I am not the only one who does it! 🙂
I also decorated another plant that sits on our table with snowflake ornaments. I think it looks cute and festive! I am trying to work with what I got people!
I also picked up some pretty flowers which I saw featured from IKEA at the Frugalicious Holiday event. I totally loved them and had to go get some of my own! They give a great little holiday pop of color. I decorated the vase with the remainder of the snowflake ornaments.
My favorite decoration is this Jim Shore holiday angel with the Nativity scene inside. I love the colors and the detail of the piece. If anyone needs any awesome Christmas gifts, Jim Shore pieces are amazing. Check it out!
I also put up some nice big red chunky candles to the sides of the tv for some added warmth and some more holiday color popping!
I also heart all the fabulous Yankee Candle stands out there. These are my favorite because of the different sizes and you can keep it up all winter because it’s not to Christmas-y!
Last but now least, my Christmas countdown calendar. It hangs on the side of the door and I move the little snowflake each day. It also holds all my holiday cards that I receive from friends. I love receiving Holiday cards!!
This has nothing to do with my decorations, but check out this awesome cup I got from Starbucks! I love me some iced coffee but I really love this awesome reusable cup. Its insulated, so it keeps my drink nice and cool and let’s face it, it comes with an awesome straw! I am sort of obsessed with the candy cane look! Another great gift idea! Hurray!
I was going to ask Santa for something similar, but I saw it in the store and needed to enjoy it the entire Christmas season!

Your place looks great! I love what you did with the Charlie Brown tree and the other plant with the snowflakes! So cute! And Jackson of course is looking as adorable as always. I plan on taking our three schnoodles (Kitsy, Rudy & Pippy – lol, my little sister named them!) to see Santa when I'm home!
