18 Rabbits

**I am still Heading South for the Winter,so please enjoy this post while I am away!**

A few weeks ago I was sent some 18 Rabbits granola bars to try. All are certified organic and either Dairy and/or Wheat Free. I love that the name 18 Rabbits comes from when the founder, Alison, was little, she had a pet rabbit named Blackjack. One day she left Blackjack outside with the other rabbits and soon after that he came to have a family of 18 Rabbits…if ya know what I mean! Ha! I love that. It’s such a great story!

18 Rabbits makes granola and granola bars.  There newest flavor of bars – Belle Bananas Foster was recently released. I love the caramelized bananas and dates in it! It was very yummy!

These are pretty good sized bars. I love comparing things to the size of my blackberry! It’s also Dairy & Wheat Free.

Next up on the to-try list is the Funky Fids and Cherries flavor. This is made with figs, flax and also pumpkin seeds. Yum-O!

I must admit that I love me some cherry chunks in my granola bars, and this baby had lots of them! All in a Dairy Free bar.

If you know me even a little bit, you know I am a MASSIVE Chocolate lover. If I can get the chocolate in my granola bar, its a win for me! The cherry and chocolate were perfect compliments to each other.  This bar is Wheat Free.

The Nibble A Sultana was pretty good too. It had apricots and pumpkin seeds in it. I liked it. This bar is Dairy Free.

I've never tried 18 Rabbits before. My favorite brand of granola bar is Cascadian Farm Organic. I discovered them at a race expo and I love both the taste and texture (just chewy enough).

I haven't tried them yet but will have to look into them. They are big so I wonder how many calories they have? I saw some big ones (another brand) and they were essentially a meal (300+ cal). The 18 Rabbits bars look tasty!
