Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Cupcake Dreams

How has your Valentine’s weekend been so far? Mine has been great. Last night fiancé and I met up with some Villanova friends who came down from NYC for the basketball game. We met and went out for dinner and drinks at our old stomping ground it was fun!

Yesterday my neighbor, Ruby’s mom, brought me some Valentine’s Day cupcakes!

Did you have trouble deciding what you were going to get the man in your life for Valentine’s Day? I know I always do! It’s always hard picking out presents for fiancé! This year I went across the bridge to New Jersey and hit up Total Wine. They have this massive wall of a huge variety of beers from all over the world where you can pick them and make your own six-pack. I went and made one for fiancé on Friday. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of the beer wall! Next time!

I figure you can’t go wrong with fun beer for the man in your life at ANY occasion! It’s always a good go-to! I made it pretty with a big red and pink bow!

I also made him chocolate covered strawberries! This is what I made him for our first Valentine’s day 4 years ago!

Chocolate + Strawberries = Perfection

Not pictured – a 12 pack of Stella. I went with a beer theme this year! He loved it! I figure you can’t go wrong!

On a side note, I should mention I gave him his present on Friday when he got home from work so he could enjoy the beers this weekend. He’s enjoyed a few so far!

What did you get the man in your life for Valentine’s Day?
