I know I shared with you the other day one of my favorite winter weather tops and socks. Today I wanted to let you in on my favorite winter weather running tights. A while back the wonderful people at Sugoi sent me these SubZero Zap Tights to review on the blog.
These tights are easily my favorite things to run in when outside during this cold winter weather. I wore them this past weekend in the Frostbite 5 Miler and I also wore them for the Philadelphia Half Marathon. They were amazing for both races!
I have also worn them for a bunch of my training runs outside. They kept me warm and comfortable during 9 glorious miles in Philadelphia and they allowed my legs to breathe during 11 off-road running miles.
From the website: “The SubZero Zap Tight is a black tight with added reflective accents for visibility. With an inside key pocket and prelaced stretch drawstring, the tights have a 28 inch inseam. The SubZero Tight helps regulate the climate against your skin.”
I love the zipper on the side of the pants for if I get a little warm and want some extra air. They even allow room for my Zensah Running Sleeves! No shin splints for me!
These bad boys have been my savior when running outside this winter. I highly recommend them! When it has been freezing cold outside, these tights have kept my legs warm and comfortable.
Thanks for the opportunity to try them out Sugoi!
