Stuffitts Shoe Savers Giveaway

A little while ago I was sent some Stuffitts Shoe Savers to test out on the blog. This was pre – Disney and NYC Half Marathons, so I have had a busy month to test them out!

Have you heard about Stuffitts?

Stuffitts absorb moisture in your shoes – helping shoes dry fast!  The straps attached can be used to hang your shoes in a mudroom or wherever you keep your shoes if they need to dry out, or if you just want to get them off the floor. I thought the straps were a nice touch!

They come in lots of fun colors and a variety of sizes as well. I was sent a pretty red color.

The red fabric is a wicking fabric, just like what is used for racing shirts, which pushes the moisture into the insert inside the red lining. The red core of the Stuffitts comes out and you can wash them with your laundry to keep them clean.

The inside of the inserts are made with highly absorbent Red Cedar. These absorb 60% of the moisture in your shoes in 1 hour. It helps get rid of odor causing bacteria by removing the wetness so fast and effectively

The Red Cedar gives your shoes a fresh outdoorsy smell and they only need replacing every year or so for more effectiveness.

Stuffitts are fully replaceable and reusable too.

Stuffitts are meant to be a permanent replacement for wet, stinky shoes. They have really kept my shoes fresh and smelling great during this past month of running and racing.

These are great for runners, but really anyone can use them! They can be used in dress shoes as shoe forms as well as sporting shoes, cleats, sneakers, hiking books, snowboarding boots, pretty much any shoe!

These babies are also great for traveling, they keep the form while you are on the road and are super easy to pack! They were great to bring with me to Disney and NYC!

Those Stuffitts seem amazing. I'd love to try them because I walk about 5 or 6 miles a day and I could use some wicking and deodorizing too! Are they in your Open Sky shop?

I travel with my running shoes a lot so I'd love to minimize the stink factor of my bag with Stuffitts! I also added your blog to my Google Reader 🙂

I would LOVE these to keep my favorite shoes from getting smelly – now I use the good ones every other day and use el cheapos on the off days so they can dry and not smell

Well, I never run outside when there is even a chance of rain because I don't want to get my shoes soaked. This could be a good solution.

    And I'm a follower.

I was just talking about these with my husband. Do they work with shoes that are soaked from a rainy run?

  • Reply Fit Chick in the City March 25, 2010 at 12:39 pm

Then I would love to try them for using after running in the rain! I never have any newspaper around to stuff my sneakers with, so these would be of great help!

Chicago was my first marathon (Ran in 2008). I had the same fear after signing up. It is a great course and has tons of crowd support. I have only ran 1 more since then, but would love to do Chicago again someday. (Maybe next year). So exciting!

I keep my gym bag at my desk at work, so anything to reduce the stink factor is okay in my book!

  • Reply Jess March 25, 2010 at 7:59 pm

Wow, these things seem awesome! Heard about your giveaway via Twitter and am interested because I'm going to be running my first 5K in 2 weeks, then a 10K a month after, followed by another 5K and hopefully training for a half marathon. I'm running as much as I can! Would love to try these. They look like puffed up feet!

I'd like to have a pair for my son. He is 10 and wears the same pair of shoes every day. They could use some serious airing out!!!

He's going to do his first Triathlon this year and it would be a great reward for him.

I just became a fan on Facebook and would LOVE to try these! I'm running my first half marathon in May but doing a lead-up race tomorrow (my first race EVER, eek!), a 10K trail run. So I know these Stuffitts would come in handy after the mud and rain of tomorrow's run!
