Runner’s Fuel

I have taken a few days off running since the Disney Princess Half Marathon and the NYC Half Marathon which I ran in March (ps – i still can’t believe it’s April already!), but after some time off, and a few crazy race sign ups, I am ready and rearing to go again!

******************************************************

Here is my Upcoming Race Schedule so far:

1) Cherry Blossom 5K – April 11th, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia – running with Mere, Ruby’s mom

2)North Face Endurance Marathon Relay – June 5th, Great Falls Park, Northern, VA – 3 teams of bloggers/readers are running this together.

Bloggers that will be in attendance: Ashley, Meghann, Cara, Jess, Heather, Kara

I can’t wait to run with some really awesome ladies! It’s going to be so fun!

3) Chicago Marathon – October 10th – I’m shaking in my boots for my first full marathon! Help!

I am also thinking about signing up for another half or a 10 miler or something. Anyone have any race suggestions for the Philadelphia/NYC/DC area? Let me know!

Also, let me know if you are running any of the above races too, I would love to meet-up!

So today I am planning to take off on a nice easy run. It’s such a gorgeous day in Philadelphia, I can’t waste it by sitting inside. Plus I am way more productive after a nice workout. Are you that way too?

I started my morning off with some toast, PB and nanner.

I love me some Nut ‘N Budder in the morning.

March 021

Nut butter and bananas, (with a healthy side of carbs) is totally my running fuel. I pretty much eat that same meal for breakfast before each and every race.

What’s your running fuel?

March 022

I also wanted to mention that since the Stuffits Shoe Savers Giveaway had such a great response, the company has offered to give free shipping to anyone who wanted to order a pair!

Here are the free shipping codes.

If order 1 pair of Stuffitts, enter jackson1 in the coupon code field. If ordering two or more pairs of Stuffitts, enter jackson2

Jackson enjoys the code! Let me know if you try them out!

I am off to run!!

Philly half in Nov, which I'm thinking about doing. Broad Street in May, which I think is closed, but I'm registered and can't run it, if you're interested maybe we can figure out a race transfer?

and then the Philly Distance Run on September 19 this year.

I'm thinking of doing the full Philly marathon in November, but I'll see how the summer and training goes.

Come to California and to the Disneyland half over Labor Day with us! You would get a special Coast to Coast medal for doing two Disney races in a year, right?
