Since today and tomorrow are the last few days to have our pumpkins out I thought I would send them off with a proper goodbye. After Thanksgiving everything will be decked out for Winter with pinecones and mistletoe and snowflakes (Oh My!) and I must say that I am looking forward to all that decor. But every year I feel that Fall always fly’s by way to fast!
Seemed like only yesterday when Fiancé and I picked our pumpkin.
And today we must already say goodbye to them!
Jackson is going to miss the big orange ball in the room for sure!
In honor of my love for pumpkin, earlier this week I created two of my favorite pumpkin treats. I recreated my Pumpkin Penne dish.
This time I added some broccoli and cauliflower to the mix. It was incredible. Even better than last time when it rocked my socks off!
I also made a batch of Pumpkin Scones as well.
I am going to have to create a Winter version of these bad boys! So Good!
Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere!
I also have been burning my pumpkin candles all week! I can’t get enough of that glorious pumpkin smell.
So farewell sweet pumpkins! We will see you again next year.
But don’t worry, if I get a hankering for your sweet taste, I have a few cans of the good stuff in reserve!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner? What are your special plans for the big day?

Spending a relaxed, wonderful day with my husband's family and my own. The first blended Thanksgiving celebration, so exciting. I'm bringing a couple healthy dishes just to make sure I will have at least a little bit of that to add to the excess. Happy Day! x
I just saw a special on the Food Network on how to cook a whole pumpkin. Really interesting – one was baked with goat cheese, mmm.
I am ready to see the family. We're cooking, busy!!
Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
I'm going to DC to visit my parents. If I recall correctly, aren't you from the DC area? Or did you just live there?
Happy Thanksgiving!
A 5k Turkey Trot in the morning (through snow and rain :() and then watching the Macy's day parade and then feasting and feasting some more! Have a wonderful day tomorrow!
Your pumpkins are too pretty to say Goodbye to, but I know they must go! Looks like you really enjoyed the Fall Decorations in your house!
