2010 has been an amazing year and it has gone by in the blink of an eye. So many great things have happened this year, I can’t believe 2010 is over! It was such a great year in fact that I have to spread out the my favorite parts of 2010 in 4 separate posts – Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall.
Here are some of the highlights of my year starting with Winter –
January 2010 – I headed South for the Winter with my family on a 2 week cruise from Miami to San Diego through the Panama Canal. It was an amazing experience and a once in a lifetime trip!
I also shared on the blog how I asked my bridesmaids to be in our wedding. I loved how I asked them and hope they enjoyed it too!
February 2010 – This month I volunteered a day to get a Disney Day. It was nice to donate my time to help out a good cause!
I lost my Brussels sprout virginity. It was awesome.
We also experienced a Snowpocalypse (or a Snowmageddon?) in Philly.
We got about 20 inches of snow. It was crazy!
But Fiancé and I braved the snow and spent Valentine’s Day in the City of Brotherly Love
Other highlights of February include making homemade whole wheat and honey pizza dough, got 5th place in a 5 mile race and had lots of fun with our wedding registry.
March 2010 – Started off fabulously, with a Green Monster 101 tutorial.
Along with the green theme of the month, Jackson celebrated St. Patty’s Day.
It also started with an entry into the Flaunt Your Rock competition where I submitted these pictures to win an engagement session and WON!
Which picture do you like better? I love them both!
March was also filled with lots of fun at Disney World! Including a Disney Princess Blogger Meet-Up.
I ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon which was tons of pretty pink princess fun! I also Re-PR’d which was kind of crazy.
Right after the Princess Race I ran the NYC Half Marathon and set my most recent Half Marathon PR.
I also started my new Solixir gig. I love this company and this product!
I ended the month and the winter season with some amazing banana slicer oats. It was a good Winter!
What was your favorite part about last Winter?

Looks like a great year! Can't wait to read about what the next year brings you!
2010 started off with a bang for you with lots of fun and special things going on. Looks like you had a blast last winter!
Great post, Leslie. I have a question: I am running the disney princess half as well this year, and was wondering how you trained during the winter for yours? Treadmill? Outside? Both? I am struggling….
