Libre Tea Giveaway

Ok, ok – I know its not Friday yet but I have one of my favorite things to post about today. I have mentioned this little gadget a few times before on the blog and I wanted to post about it again!

Ok, its not this – Pictured above and below is a blooming tea flower. I love these too and recently picked one up at Reading Terminal Market (best place ever) the other day.

Such a nifty little way to enjoy your tea.

Jackson was intrigued.

The flower is so delicate. I love the colors.

What I wanted to share with you today is what the tea flower is going into –  my Libre Tea glass.

 DSC_0104

To enjoy a flowering tea, simply add it to hot water to your Libre Tea glass

DSC_0106 DSC_0107

And watch it grow!

DSC_0108

Pretty cool looking, right? I love it!

Back to my Libre Tea glass – I love this baby because of the way it looks, how it feels and really how easy it is to use.

DSC_0111

The top part of the glass has a strainer attached so you can enjoy any kind of loose leaf tea on the go!

DSC_0112

You can strain the tea into a separate glass or mug from here.

Or in my case you can enjoy a flowering tea on the go.

I have posted about this fabulous tea glass many times before on the blog. My original review goes into a bit more detail of the step by step functions of the glass with lots of fun pictures. This Libre Tea glass is one of my favorite things – I use mine all the time and think Libre Tea is an awesome company!

My favorite tea moment of all time was 2 years ago – I had been sick for a while and was in the hospital and a friend of mine brought me in Teavana gingerbread tea. It was the first thing I had been able to keep down in a long time (sorry for the TMI) and it was so good so relaxing and so so healing!

I put the tea kettle on as soon as I get home from work. At the end of a hectic day, it's my favorite way to unwind (besides reading blogs!) – I would love this for a fancier tea time.

May Canadians enter? My favourite tea moments were when I skipped high school classes to have tea with an elderly friend – I learned so much more from her than I would have at school. I'd like to win because this would make a lovely gift.

I love enjoying a cup of hot tea with some dark chocolate reading on my cozy couch after dinner!! I recently cut artificial sweetener (think SWEET N LOW) from my diet (4 months tomorrow!) and I'm really looking to explore the tastes of teas and coffees, etc. WITHOUT the taste of fake sugar. I'd love to win this!

It's kind of silly, but I have a developmentally disabled aunt who LOVES tea. We give it to her for her birthday, for Christmas, iced, hot, with lemon, whatever–she loves it. So whenever I drink tea I think of her!

I love tea. I blame it on my British upbringing. I have tea every night after dinner, while reading my current book.

  • Reply J December 3, 2010 at 8:13 pm

This looks to cool! I've never seen flowering tea before. My favorite tea moment is drinking some before I go to bed. It makes me sleepy. I really love tea though. I rarely drink coffee (anymore) so I sip on tea all day.

  • Reply Nicole @BodyByBeer December 3, 2010 at 9:45 pm

We have a great variety of flowering teas. We bought a set that has a picture of each 'design' and the flower ingredients. We like to pick one at random and as it unfolds, we guess which one it is.
