Here is how I spent my summer –

July 2010 – Started the month off pretty awesome. My picture appeared in a nationwide ad campaign for Solixir. Exciting stuff!

August 2010 – August started off with my first triathlon competition. It was long and hard and I drank more Schuylkill water than I wish to admit. But its cool to say that I completed a TRI!

Then I headed over to Chicago for the Healthy Living Summit. This was my first time in Chicago – it was fun to see the city! My favorite parts of Chicago were the bean and the deep dish pizza!

Another favorite part of Chicago was running though the city with friends! I even did my first 16 mile run on Lake Michigan with some blogger buddies.

During my Chicago trip I also got to visit the Frito Lay Factory in Beloit, WI. It was awesome to see how a chip becomes a chip!

I came back from Chicago just in time to celebrate Jackson’s 4th birthday !

Ran my first 20 mile run  and posted some Helpful Hints to Start Running

Enjoyed my first Kale – it’s not scary! It’s yummy! Embrace it!

I also made my first yucca root creation. Yucca fries = awesome!

In September we also celebrated Kate’s 30th Birthday with a surprise party!

I also went to see Lady Gaga in concert with some lovely ladies.

Then I ran the Rock & Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon, otherwise known as my attempt at 22 miles.

I ended September and the Fall with a day on a Philadelphia Chocolate Tour with my lovely mother. It was choco-liscious! 🙂
