White Out

As predicted, I woke up to another winter wonderland this morning.

Last night we got snow – and LOTS of it!

Last I heard yesterday, we were expected to get between 6-12 inches of snow. I always hate when they predict it like that, because those extra 6 inches make a big difference!

But we ended up getting the worse case scenario storm and got 16 inches!

Jackson and I went out early in the morning to check it all out.

He was really struggling. Luckily there is a frozen solid layer of snow a few inches down so he has something to stand on and doesn’t sink all the way down to the bottom. The snow is about up to my knees in some places!

I think his eyes and face say it all.

It was fun to walk around and take pictures of the freshly fallen snow, as it always is – but Jackson and I were definitely slipping and sliding!

I feel bad for all the sad little trees that have so much weight of the snow on them they are nearly on the ground!

It is always interesting to get out there and take Jackson out for a little walk to check out the roads situation. Some roads were plowed and others were barely touched!

I love when Jackson does his little ‘Shake it Off’ dance.

I think this Fire Lane sign gives a better example of the amount of snow.

This bench puts everything in perspective too!

This is my favorite picture of the day!

I had to basically slide my butt down these stairs. They were so icy!

At least the snow is beautiful to look at! It’s so quiet out today. I love it!

How are you dealing with the snow today?

Jackson is so darn cute. I think he needs booties to keep his paws safe from the ice and salt. Not to mention that they are adorable and my dog ate hers.

Where's Jackson's coat and boots? Your photos are beautiful and look very similar to our area, where we only got 8 inches. Stay safe!
