Yesterday was another beautiful day on the slopes.

It was like night and day on the slopes this Saturday – the weekend ski rush was in full effect.

But our little group managed to work our way up the mountain with little wait. We hit up some singles lines and some less crowded lifts and we were good to go for most of the day.

We had a few great runs in the morning – Fiancé and I started off skiing with Meghann and Derek and then we all met up with Mal, Tina and Theodora for a few runs too. Skiing with a group is so fun!

And then headed in for lunch with the group! A few Long Trails were most definitely consumed.

And a large platter of nachos were shared.

But then it was time to hit the slopes again!
Afternoon skiing brought along with it some snowfall which was fun to ski in.
But it also took away some visibility.

Skiing in the freshly fallen snow was lots of fun!

It was another beautiful day on the mountain.
We took advantage of the falling snow scaring some skiers away so there were fewer people on the slopes in the later afternoon.

It probably was also due to the fact that it got colder around this time! Brr!

I was slightly obsessed with taking pictures of the view.

But before I knew it, it was time to pack up our skis and head back to the house for some more fun!

I got to meet Murphy for the first time – he was such a cute little guy, but it made me miss MY little puppy boy even more than I already do!

Then it was time to consume drinks by the fire and relax a bit.

And then for the second night in a row a Feast for 17 was created.

It was busy in the kitchen.

We drank and socialized.

While others blogged.

And then it was time to eat! Bo had injured himself the first day skiing and since he couldn’t go out with everyone else on the slopes, he stayed in and cooked up a French Feast!

He made a beef bourguignon, which I had only heard about in Julie and Julia.

It was FANTASTIC!

And he also made a wonderful vegetable cassoulet too!
Paired with salad and shaved Brussels sprouts!

My plate was incredible! Did I mention there was also homemade mashed potatoes! Everything on my plate was made from scratch – all the dressing and sauces – It was wonderful!

I wish I could eat like this every night!

After eating, I came into the kitchen to fine Fiancé doing everyone’s dishes!
\\
What a sweet guy! Thanks Fiancé!

After dinner more drinks were drank and games were played. On Friday night we played “Paper Telephone” which was a game filled with lots of laughs. You start by writing a sentence on the top of a piece of paper, then hand it to the person next to you who interprets the sentence with a drawing and then the next person interprets the drawing into a sentence.
I started off by writing “Sitting by the fire with wine is lovely”

And 17 people later it ended up saying “The World is Burning, Stay Inside”

Many laughs were had- the game got a little crazy, but it was so much fun!

Another amazing evening with lots of friends!

I will be sad to say goodbye to this amazing group of people – hopefully we can all come back and do it again next year!
