Tonight Charles and I headed into Center City for a fun little adventure – we did a second round of appetizer tastings for the upcoming wedding. We did the original tasting almost 8 months ago and we had a hard time remembering what everything was like and what we wanted served for the cocktail hour. It also made the decision way harder because we had 8 pages of appetizers to choose from! Decisions, decisions!
It was nice to go down to the caterer’s and hang out for a bit tonight – it was nice to just sit back, relax, try out some possible wedding food and unwind!
The ambiance was perfect for the bride and groom to be!
Our caterer, Jeffery Miller, did an amazing job once again – I can’t tell you enough how awesome they are!
Charles and I brought some wine for the occasion.
The wine was a gift from our Christmas Party and it was delish!
After the wine was poured, it was time to eat!
Since a few blog readers are coming to the wedding, I am keeping our final selections to myself, but here are some of the things we tasted tonight:
Cheesesteak Spring Rolls
Vegetarian Samoa’s with Mint Chutney
Mini Maryland Crabcakes
Buffalo Chicken Bites
Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce
Tapas Shrimp
And Homemade Gelato
Just a few things we have tasted for the wedding appetizer selections. Lots of what we tasted tonight were really heavy (but also delicious!) – so I am trying to decide from the list of options, that is 8 pages long, what we want to pick that most people will like and what will be appropriate for a (hopefully) warm and lovely day in May! It’s hard to choose from all the options but we took lots of notes to make a decision soon!
What would your favorite appetizer be to enjoy at a wedding cocktail hour? It doesn’t have to be from the choices above, I would just love your opinion as a perfect cocktail hour appetizer option!
