Eating My Way Thru Northern VA

Good morning friends! Sorry you didn’t get my usual Favorite Things Friday post yesterday. I had one all set up and ready to go but I the day got away from me because I was out having so much fun with my friends and family!

Aileen and I set out in the morning in search of Rehearsal Dinner dresses for me. I can’t find anything I like anywhere in Philly so we headed over to Tyson’s Corner (aka my second home in Virginia!) to do some damage.

After getting our shop on for a few hours we had to break for lunch.

I was excited to stop at Neisha Thai for lunch because this is the first place I enjoyed Thai cuisine ever in my life!

It was a tad chilly out so we enjoyed some Jasmine tea.

I enjoyed the fact that the china had the restaurant name on it.

Aileen and I were pretty hungry so we split a papaya salad (it was amazing)

Topped with shrimp

And the Tum Yum Soup.

Which was spicy and delicious.

For an entree we split the green curry with vegetables.

It was spicy and full of flavor – just my style.

After our killer lunch and some more shopping we stopped at Starbucks for an afternoon treat – they were giving away mini petites with any drink purchase in honor of their 40th anniversary.

Since I tried the Birthday Cake flavor the other day I went with a Tiramisu.  It was just as amazing! I heart cake pops!

With a Venti unsweetened Passion Tea. Love this drink.

After finishing up our day over in Tyson’s Corner Aileen and I headed over to Uncle Julio’s to meet up with Michele and Michelle for Happy Hour!

I only snacked on a chip or two because Operation Hot Bride is in FULL EFFECT! 10 Weeks today until the Big Day!

I did however enjoy a Uncle Julio’s Signature Swirl which was half margarita, half sangria mixed together. It was delish!

Like a good little Bride-To-Be for dinner I enjoyed a large salad topped with salmon with the chipotle dressing on the side. It was quite the feast!

And since we were there for Happy Hour we all got another round of drinks! Can you guess what I got?
