This weekend Charles and I did some spring cleaning. We went through all our clothes and shoes and pretty much everything in our apartment and did an “out with the old, in with the new” sweep.
It feels good to be able to donate a bunch of things to goodwill. It feels even better to get these unused items out of our apartment!
We also went through all of our presents from my bridal showers and did some organizing, replacing and upgrading. We still have a big pile of fine china which I am not sure what we are going to do with!
After our Spring cleaning, we took Jackson out for a much needed walk to enjoy the 65* weather that we had in Philly today!
With all the rain we had the past day and a half in Philly, it was fun to walk by the Schuylkill and see what the deal was down there.
Remember all the crazy flooding I had outside my apartment in the Fall?
Jackson was pumped to be out and about enjoying the sun.
We did little interval walk and sprints with him.
Jackson loves to run – when he does he looks like he is flying – he is a fast little bugger!
Some more photos from our little outing.
I wanted to walk down and check out the cherry blossoms on Kelly Drive, but they were a little father down than I had planned.
Instead of walking farther, we stopped and took some pictures.
I love that his fur is in his eyes and he is mid blink in this one!
Please enjoy the many faces of Jackson:
That pretty much sums him up in a nutshell.
Jackson always makes my heart skip a beat. I heart my pup.
After snapping way to many pictures, it was time to head home.
But I managed to take some time to stop and smell the flowers first.
Spring has sprung!
Aka – time to pack away the winter gear and get ready for the sunshine!
Now I am off to watch 127 Hours and rest up for a busy week ahead!
How was your weekend?
