Happy Royal Wedding Day! I would like to fully admit on the blog that I have been slightly obsessed with all things “Royal Wedding” this past week. I get up every morning and watch all the news about the Big Day and then I watch the wedding specials and history about the Royal Family at night!
I must admit, that I set my DVR for 4 am this morning and woke up at 6 just to watch everything happen! Did anyone else join me in an early wake up call for the royal wedding?
I am sure it doesn’t help my cause that I have Weddings on the brain because our big day is only 22 days away – so today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite parts of the royal wedding excitement! Enjoy!

First of all, I love Kate’s dress! So much hype has been built up about this bad boy! I understand that she had to have her arms covered and I think it was beautiful how she did it with the lace.

She looks gorgeous. Not overdone, just naturally beautiful. I love it!

Kate seemed so relaxed all day. If I were her, I would be freaking out!

Aside from the dress I love seeing at the Royal Wedding is all the Hats! Apparently fancy hats are the things to wear to a royal affair.

I wish I had an excuse to wear a fun hat like these, I think they are pretty cool!
Do you have a favorite hat?

I am also really excited about Kate’s walk down the aisle in Westminster Abbey. She walked 300 feet down the aisle which took her and her dad 3-4 minutes! I can’t believe she had to walk that far for that long!

My favorite part might have been when William first saw her in her dress and he whispered to her “You look beautiful” I love Love!

After the vows I was excited to see Kate & Will have that iconic kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, just like Diana & Charles did.

Did I mention that I love Love??

The main reason for my excitement over the Royal Wedding, aside from Kate’s dress, the fun hats, long aisles and iconic kisses is just to see Kate Middleton walk up the steps to Westminster Abbey a commoner and come out a Princess! Seriously, it doesn’t get much better than that – a real life fairy tale!

I am excited I got to experience the Royal Wedding today – and wish William and Kate all the happiness in the world together!
Did you watch it? What did you think? Did you have a favorite part?
