Drop What You Know

3 weeks into my 40 days! 21 days down, 19 days to go!

Week 3 By The Numbers:

Number of 45 Minute Yoga Videos Completed: 1

Number of Minutes in Hot Yoga Class: 405 (Double BAM!)

Number of Green Juices Drank: 3

Number of lbs. Lost this Week: 1

Number of lbs. Lost Total: 7

I beat last week’s Hot Yoga Class count by 30 minutes! I am seriously falling more and more in love with hot yoga with each down dog I take. I plan out my week very strategically to get to a hot yoga class (just about) every day. I am hoping to make it to class 7 days this week, last week I was at 6 days with 1 day watching the online video. This week was extra special for me yoga-wise because I got Charles to come to his first yoga class ever with me! He has been practicing with me at home when I do the video, but it was so amazing to be able to introduce him to the world of hot yoga, in a 95* room. I am so proud of him for trying something new and we hope to make going to class on the weekends together a regular thing!

Week 4 focuses on Restoration.

Restoration removes the rocks that blocks out wisdom & light. This week features a 60 minute yoga practice every day, along with 20 minutes of meditation in the morning and 20 minutes of meditation in the evening. Week 4 also begins with a 3 day fruit cleanse! This starts bright and early tomorrow morning!

Here is what I can eat/drink:

Monday-Wednesday

Yogi Detox Tea
Yogi Smooth Move Tea
Fresh Lemons
Any Fresh Fruit

Avocado
Tomato
Fresh Herbs (for taste only)

Fresh Coconut (for the milk)

Red Peppers

No dairy, no sugar, no flour no alcohol, no caffeine – all week long – I have cut most of this out of my life the past 3 weeks so hopefully it will all come together easily this week!. This is a spring cleaning for our body – making it ready for a new start.

What we put into our body immediately after the cleanse is important. Here is what the rest of the week looks like after the cleanse:

Thursday – Sunday

Oatmeal
Brown Rice Quinoa

Yam

All Fresh Vegetables (except: corn, peas, lima beans)

Salt Water Fish
Organic Free Range Chicken
Organic Free Range Eggs
EVOO
Organic Vinegar
Fresh Beans

I am a little nervous about giving up my veggies that I have come to know and love for 3 days! Brussels sprouts & Creamy Avocado Pasta have become a necessary part of my daily existence!

If anyone would like to join me on my fruit cleanse this week, let me know! We can do it together!

Wish me luck!
