Christmas Village in Philadelphia

Today Charles & I headed into Center City Philadelphia to explore the Christmas Village.

Christmas Village takes place in JFK Plaza/Love Park – every year it transforms this location in Philly into a traditional German Christmas Market.

It runs from Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve and features more than 60 wooden booths from lots of local vendors.

Charles and I enjoyed spending the day wandering through the market. There were some really great things to check out!

Not to mention a great view!

The village has lots of great food & drink options as well – I had my eye on the Spiced Apple Wine from Chadds Ford Winery

It was nice to walk around and check out so many neat gift ideas that were made in Philadelphia. It was fun to get to make connections with a few really cool vendors too.

We left the Village a short while before the sun set & the Christmas lights lit up the tree. We will be back later this week to check out the night views of the Village – but it was a lovely afternoon enjoying some Christmas Cheer in the city!
