I am excited to say that over the holidays, I have feel back in the groove with an old hobby.

Knitting.

I have knit a few things in my day (including matching scarves for Jackson & I for a Holiday card!) and I always forget how much I love it! I really enjoy relaxing, watching television & making something while I do it – it calms me in a weird way.

I also love the fact that I can make something while I am enjoying my free time – makes me feel extra productive! Is that strange?

I am so happy I picked up my knitting skills back up again so easily – I made this scarf in 2 days flat! Its one of the more chunkier ones I have made, but I really like it – It’s also an infinity scarf, which I’ve never made before but it was surprisingly easy. The bigger loops give the scarf a great stretch so you can wear it a few different ways. 

Jackson enjoys my new love for knitting as well – he likes to be my model of my latest creations. It’s a good thing he looks so cute doing it!

Just so you know – The actual color of this scarf is a combination of the lighter purple which you see in Jackson’s photos & the burgundy in the photo below – the light was being weird in both shots.
