Chicken & Dumpling Soup

Last night I made a new {to me} soup!

Chicken & Dumpling Soup

I love a good soup but I have never made dumplings before so I was excited to try out a new recipe. This soup is jam packed full of great veggies – celery, carrots, onion & garlic – oh my! And my first dumpling experience was a great one. The only thing was I would make them a little smaller next time, more bite size – they got really big when added to the soup! But the final soup creation ended up being super tasty & very delicious – very easy to make. I would make this again in a heartbeat.

Here are a few scenes from my soup making experience:

Wow – the soup looks delicious -I must admit those dumplings are a little large, bite size would be just right! Were there pieces of chicken in the soup?

If chicken soup is one of your favorite meals, it pays to keep an eye on which restaurants feature real homemade soup. Many are generally adding additional ethnic tastes now, so you should find a new favorite that features spicy Mexican flavors, and also subtle Asian tastes. For those who have issues with additives such as MSG, it is imperative that you really ask the staff about the soup preparation. The last thing you want is an allergic reaction to the food. Once you find a restaurant that will serves a soup you prefer, do not be afraid to offer them praise. Knowing a customer appreciates the extra prep involved, they are likely to continue. ‘

Your ingredients list at the top lists baking powder, but during your directions it says baking soda. Which is it?
