spicy lemonade juice recipe

the master

The next juice recipe that I wanted to share on the blog for my upcoming cleanse is the spicy lemonade juice. This is the second of 6 juices that are used in the Catalyst, Master & Blue Print Cleanse programs – but I am testing them out at home for fun.

The ingredients for the Spicy Lemonade is much simpler than the green juice recipe - in fact it only calls for 3 ingredients (4 if you count water).

You can use 2-3 lemons if you are using a juicer, or 3-4 lemons if you plan to juice them by hand. Once you have the juice from the lemons, add it to 14 oz of water. Then add about 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper & 1 tbsp of agave – those are the measurements I used, but you could add more or less of each to your taste. Definitely start with less of the cayenne if you aren’t into the spiciness of it, because it definitely gives the lemonade a kick!

I used 3 lemons that were pretty big so I got a good a amount of juice from it – about 8 oz.

Sprinkled in the cayenne & agave – added in a few ice cubes, gave the glass a few shakes & the drink is good to go.

Fun Fact: Cayenne pepper boosts your metabolism & get your blood pumping!

This juice is tasty for the cleanse but its just refreshing to enjoy anytime!

Tastes like Summer!
