Stitch Fix Review #4

It’s time for another Stitch Fix!

I can’t believe this is going to be my 4th Fix – time flies when you are having a blast trying on amazing clothes. With the warm weather increasing day by day and the fact that Spring is officially here, I requested my 4th Fix be geared towards the new season that is upon us. Since the majority of my first 3 fixes were tops, I asked to try out a skirt for Spring and maybe a dress too – while staying budget friendly.

When you create your Stitch Fix profile you let them know how much you would like to spend on certain clothes – I have mine set at the lowest, trying to keep everything in the $50 range after getting a few pricey items in my 1st Fix. But it is so much fun getting a box full of goodies in the mail, to try on in the comfort of your own home with clothes & accessories you already own! If you couldn’t already tell, I’m obsessed!

Feel free to check out my other Fixes here – My First Fix, Stitch Fix #2 & Stitch Fix #3

So here is a little peak into what was in my 4th Fix. Lots of fun colors & different styles going on. As soon as I got my box, I literally ripped off my clothes, so excited to try everything on!

Here’s what I got in my 4th Stitch Fix:

19 Cooper Lyle Polka Dot Stripe Mix Sheer Tank {$58}

I like this top in that it combined two of my favorite things – polka dots & stripes! The purple/navy and the peach were an interesting combination for me so I was anxious to try this on.

Lyle Polka Dot Stripe Mix Tank

Honestly not sure how I feel about it on me – I like the button down look and it’s definitely a fun pattern. I think it could be cute with an oversized cardigan and boots when its a little chilly and just by itself with skinny jeans and gold statement jewelry.

What do you think?

Blu Pepper Sharon Sleeveless Sheer Tank {$38}

This is a pretty cute little striped, button-up tank. The multi-color, high-low look is pretty adorable as well – and I love the gold button details. I like how the style card paired it with white skinny jeans for one look and belted with a skirt for another look – Stitch Fix does an awesome job with showing the versatility of the clothes the send you!

Here’s the top on with skinny jeans and wedges – What do you think of it on me? At first I was sure this was going to be a keeper, but now I’m not too sure. Is it a little meh? I’m going back and forth about it. It’s cute but I’m not sure if I’m in love with it on me…Help!

Fornash Color Stone Textured Border Necklace {$48}

In all 4 of my Fixes I have received a different accessory of sorts – first a scarf, then a necklace and last time was a ring – this time I received another necklace. I have enjoyed all the accessories I have been sent as they have all been really different and really cool, but I haven’t kept any. I think I would rather spend my money on a cool piece of clothing – next time I think I’m going to request no accessories.

That being said, the color blocking of this necklace is really pretty. I like it a lot, just didn’t want to spend $48 on it – What do you think? Worth it or not?

41Hawthorn Calafia Jersey Wrap Dress {$58}

I have seen this dress on other blogs around the internet and I think it was love at first sight. The jersey material is beyond comfortable and the eggplant color is amazing for Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall. Purple is also a color I am drawn towards, I have been told many times that it looks good on me with my hair color and skin tone. The dress is also perfectly simple and Oh! so versatile – you can easily layer it with a sweater or a wrap, add some boots and you have an awesomely comfortable & chic look – or glam it up with some statement jewelry and heels!

wrap dress

I don’t own a wrap dress like this in my wardrobe, if you can believe it, but I sort of love it. The dress is flowy and flirty and has pockets {!!!!} which are a key factor in any dress purchase, obviously. I love the deep v-neck – I can add a cami for extra coverage, if needed. I also think the length is really nice, not too long or short – we have to keep it clean when pushing 30, am I right?

Eggplant dress

The style card showed it styled with a comfy sweater – so I tossed one on from my closet and I can totally see how cute this could look with boots and tights. I also enjoyed added a chunky belt over the belted wrap part of the dress for a different look. I have a few other belts in my closet that I could play with that I’m excited about – a different belt changes the look of the whole outfit!

Check out the Twirl Factor.

Almost as important as the pockets…almost!

Collective Concepts Milo Pleated Detail Skirt {$58}

I love how flirty this skirt is! Like the wrap dress, the color is perfect for literally all of the seasons.  And just like everything else, you can easily dress this up or down. It is a little high waisted, which is a new concept for me, but I was excited to try it out for myself. Also, can I just say that the fabric is very nice – it’s fully lined and just feels amazing.

Milo Pleated Detail Skirt

First I tried it on with a white tank, a black belt and a black sweater. I sort of love how this all looks together. Looks like a dress, right? Pretty cool. I think this skirt is really flattering, but I have to admit, I am a little intimidated by the high-wasit – not sure if it will bother me or not, but I do think its a really cute skirt.

Next I tried on a black tank and threw on a jean jacket. Completely different look, right? Again, a piece you can dress up or down. I have been on a skirt kick as of late – I might need to add this to my collection. Check out a similar skirt by Collective Concepts in a fun pattern for another look as well.

I love how I was able to literally pair everything from this Fix with my favorite BaubleBar necklace {also seen in this Friday Favorite post – gold mesh link collar!} and my new peep-toe wedges from Target. Obsessed with both!

  1. I love the plum colored dress and the blue skirt! #2 & #4 The other items are cute but overpriced.

  2. SKIRT AND DRESS! these are my opinions….follow them blindly.

    I agree with Keight!!!! Dress and Skirt! Skirt is my number one for you!

    Love the dress and skirt – love how the dress looks with the chunky belt and how the skirt looks like a dress with a wide belt. Those two pieces are very versatile and I think you will get alot of use out of them.

  5. Sam

    Keep the skirt and the dress! I love Stitch Fix – my first fix is actually scheduled to arrive today, and I cannot wait to see what I get (and inevitably blog about it!).

  6. I got the dress but in black for my first fix and it is AWESOME! I’ve worn it with boots and tights and with wedges too (crazy St Louis weather). Definitely my favorite piece so far. That skirt is pretty awesome too! The necklace looks great but $48? That’s a bit much.

    Love everything except the tops. I think the necklace really dresses up that skirt. You should keep it! The skirt and dress are really flattering and look nice on you. The tops are kinda meh.
