30 Before 30

I can’t believe I turned 29 yesterday. I also can’t believe that I will be 30 in 364 days – that sounds crazy to me! I don’t know about you, but I think 28 sounded way better than 29 {and 26 sounds better than 27,  24 > 25, and so on!} but I must admit, I am a fan of even numbers. I was happy looking back at my list of 28 things in my 28th year – I was proud to say I completed a solid amount of things on that list. I think its good to have goals and great to share them with people who can hold you accountable. I love to write things down and cross them off a list, it’s weird but it makes me happy, so I wanted to create a similar list of things I want to do in the next year before I turn the big 3-0!

I kept a few of the things I wanted to complete from my list last year, added on some of the 2013 resolutions I have been working on since January and rounded out the list with some other fun must-do’s before 30! Here’s my bucket list of 30 things I want to do before I’m 30 – Enjoy!

  • 2- Cook/Create one new recipe each week {and share on the blog!}
  • 3- Go on an Impromptu Road Trip
  • 4- Complete a Week Long Juice Fast {5-7 days}
  • 5- Paint a Wall/walls in our Home
  • 6- Fly high in the Philadelphia Zoo balloon
  • 7- Run the Ben Franklin Bridge
  • 8- Drink (loose leaf) tea daily
  • 9- Create a Photo Collage Wall in our Home
  • 10 – Go to Chile to Visit Charles’ Brother {who lives there!}
  • 11- Finish Reading the Game of Thrones book series
  • 12- Take my Vitamins every day
  • 13- Go on a Long Weekend Vacation with Charles
  • 14- Complete a Week Long Diet of Raw Foods Only
  • 15- Think About Starting a Family
  • 16- Read More Books & Read a Classic
  • 17- Jump into a Pool with all my Clothes on
  • 18-  Clean out my closet & donate {to Twice!} items not worn in the past year
  • 19-  Enjoy a Spa Day with Friends
  • 20- Try Acupuncture
  • 21- Try a new restaurant in Philadelphia Once a Month
  • 22-Drink at least 64 oz. of H20 every day
  • 23- Tour the Philadelphia Dog Parks with Jackson
  • 24- Work on my Green Thumb & Grow Something
  • 25- Less Sugar More Real Food in my Diet
  • 26- Make Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon
  • 27- Take my Mom to Las Vegas
  • 28- Buy Our First Home
  • 29- Practice Turning off Technology More
  • 30- Volunteer
  • ** 31- Get the Starbucks Gold Card ** Bonus!

    Where else do you plan to travel to? #1 and #10 are similar but I’m curious what will be the second stamp in the passport in addition to Chile!

      Nina – The trip to Chilie is mostly planned at this point and I want to go somewhere else out of the country too – maybe a random long weekend trip with the Hubs like we did when we went to Jamaica last year. I’m hoping to travel some more this year! 🙂
