My Favorite Pregnancy Essentials

It’s been an amazing 9+ months – I’ve enjoyed every moment growing this little baby bump and it’s been so much fun sharing my experience with you on the blog! While I am currently still pregnant, today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things I have loved during this entire pregnancy.

Check out my picks and let me know what you think and stay tuned tomorrow for my 41 week update and our plans for moving forward!

Pregnancy Favorites

1- The first thing I purchased when I found out I was pregnant was a pregnancy pillow It has been my most favorite thing ever and seriously a lifesaver these past few weeks. It’s really been hard to get comfortable the bigger my belly gets & this pillow makes everything a lot easier! Seriously, if you are pregnant – buy one now!

2- The second thing I think I purchased in the very beginning was this stretch mark cream & let me just tell you, it smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling fantastic! I put it on my belly at night and it still smells & feels great when I wake up.

3- Easily the one piece of maternity clothing I have worn the most! I have this tank in 3 colors – black, white & grey – and I am obsessed. I wear it all the time, with everything & will continue to do so post-baby. It’s so comfortable, I can’t say enough good things about it!

4- Been drinking this pregnancy tea for the past few weeks – I love it because it tastes amazing & it’s supposed to “prepare my womb for childbirth” – Sounds good to me!

5- Another lifesaver this pregnancy has been this Lucky Legs cooling serum – especially during these past few weeks where my feet have been swelling a little & getting really sore at the end of the day. This stuff makes my feet & legs feel like a million bucks – I love to put it on & relax, it feels amazing!

6- Aside from the nursing bra that I love {and have worn a ton during this pregnancy} I also really love these bras too – I wanted something that was supportive, without a wire and could easily be worn under any top. Sure they are an As Seen on TV brand, but they feel great, don’t dig into my skin & were a great price!

7- While I’ve done the majority of my reading/research on the internet this book has been a great reference these past few months!

8- I have been using TJ’s Lavender Salt Scrub ever since I my belly really popped & I love it. Not sure if it has anything to do with me not getting stretch marks yet {fingers crossed it stays like this!} It smells amazing, makes my belly feel so soft and it’s a little treat each time I shower!

9-I’ve loved having these in my purse since the early stages of my pregnancy – they always made me feel better if I was feeling nauseous and now I love the little kick of spice every now and then. Such a great snack!

Hi Leslie, I’m a fellow new Rookie Mom contributor. So fun having new blogs to read! Also fun to see your essentials list. I actually bought the same preggo pillow and used it for a bit but got horrible neck-aches from it and ended up ditching it around 20 weeks and have been just fine without it and haven’t even done any extra regular pillows which I know is super unusual. As far as my must-have…I’d say black leggings, tall boots and long tunics. That’s been my wardrobe this entire pregnancy.

Hey Whitney, thanks for stopping by! So crazy you didn’t like that pillow, I’m obsessed with it and will likely continue to use it post baby, I love it!

Such great tips for future expectant mothers! I have to tell you that I love the Genie Bras too – I have two of them and they are so comfortable!
