My Mom’s Second Stitch Fix

I’m so excited to share with you some more Stitch Fix love on the blog! I know it’s been FOREVER since I’ve gotten a Fix myself {I blame the growing belly that took over my body for 9 months and the tiny human I’ve been caring for the past 2 months!}  But, I am excited to announce that I have ordered my next Stitch Fix – which will be #8 for me! – and I cannot wait for it to arrive so I can share it with you on the blog.

But while I have been on a hiatus from new clothes in general, my mom wanted to order herself another Fix because she had so much fun with her first Stitch Fix order. This time she asked for bright, colorful pieces that would be fun going into Spring/Summer. She also has a few fun trips coming up that she wanted some new pieces for as well. Check out all the goodies she got in her 2nd fix & let us know what you think!

And if you want to catch up on my previous Fixes – you can check them out here:

Pomelo Wrenn V-Neck Jersey Top in Purple {$44}

Wrenn V Neck Jersey Top

I love purple in general and I love it even more on my mom – and this shirt is such a great shade of purple, it really works well in any season. I enjoy the mini cowl neck and the sleeve length too. This shirt is easy to wear with jeans or dress up with a blazer and some fun jewelry.

41Hawthorn Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse in Light Green {$48}

Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse

This looks like an updated version of a very similar top in style & color by 41Hawthorn that I received in my 5th Stitch Fix. I absolutely love the color and it’s such an easy top to throw on. This version is a little longer with more of a slit on the side which makes it a little more like a tunic, which is fun. They called this color light green, but I think it’s more of a mint blue.

Under Skies Angelica Pintuck 3/4 Sleeve Blouse in Coral {$48}

Angelica Pintuck 34 Sleeve Blouse

I love this top – its my personal favorite from this Fix and I plan on borrowing it should my mom decide to keep it {which I totally think she should!} It was hard to photograph the color but its a beautiful shade of coral with some great detail around the neckline and down the middle of the top. It’s very light and would be perfect with a nude tank underneath. It’s the same brand of a fun top my mother-in-law {MM} received in her first fix.

Kut from the Kloth Denna Skinny Jean in Navy {$78}

Denna Skinny Jean

I have seen this brand all over Nordstrom & Nordstrom Rack lately – it was even in a few items in my first ever Stitch Fix – I have become a big fan of it myself. These are the first skinny jeans my mom has tried on, and she loved them! I am a lover of skinny jeans and loose tops, so it was fun to have my mom try on that look herself – they looked great on her and she really liked the fit too, plus I think this is an awesome shade of denim for {almost!} any occasion.

Zad Colleen Hammered Metal V Necklace in Silver {$32}

Zad Necklace

I am usually not a fan of any jewelry/accessories in my Fixes – I’d rather have a fun new piece of clothing – but my mom wanted to see what they would send her. I  do like this hammered metal necklace because I love hammered jewelry in general – it’s a nice length and can be layered with other pieces. It’s a nice piece that wouldn’t overshadow any outfit, but given the chance I’d rather spend $32 on a new top than a necklace unless it was a WOW piece.

    I love #3 and I think she should keep #5 too. The purple shirt is a gorgeous color on her but it looks like it will need ironing often.

    Your mom is beautiful.

    I loved my second Stitch Fix and ended up keeping everything!

    My favorite color is red but I think #5 is perfect for spring especially if you get a nice necklace or wear a scarf to go with it.

    I got my first Fix last week and I think I’m hooked! I’m a sixty plus grandma and I am so glad to see someone in my age bracket that has had a good Fix experience. The outfits look amazing on your mom. They really took my preferences and my age into account, but the outfits don’t make me look “grandmotherly”, if you know what I mean. Thanks for sharing!
