My Top 5 Ways to Relieve Stress

Life as a stay at home mom is all sorts of awesome. There is no better job in the world and I wouldn’t want any other job in the world. Being able to take care of my little man everyday is such a blessing – but it isn’t always rainbows and butterflies! Staying at home with a {soon-to-be} toddler comes with its challenges and it’s stresses! So today, I’m here to share with you my favorite ways to relieve stress, check it out!

***************

1. Take a Bath – Seriously there is nothing better than a nice, warm, calm, bubbly bath after a long & crazy day. I enjoy mine with candles and a nice drink on the side {see below}

2. Wine! I don’t know about you, but if I am having a crazy day, I look forward to the end of the day after the little man is asleep and having a glass of wine, with some reality TV on the side. It totally takes my edge off & I love it!

3. A good massage! I am a HUGE fan of getting regular massages, well I used to be pre-baby. Especially if you are marathon training, this is a must! I look forward to special spa days & I feel so much better after some quality me time – it’s even more fun with a friend!

4. Working Out – If I am having a bad day, going on a run or hitting the gym always cures what ails me. You can’t go wrong with a quality sweat session. I’m so excited for the warmer weather, which HAS to be just around the corner – so Brooks and I can head out on some stroller runs together! We both love the fresh air.

5. Sleep. With a one year old, our sleep has been getting better. As a stay at home mom, getting a good night’s sleep is essential to surviving the day. I always make it a point to go to bed early and usually I’m out when my head hits the pillow, but sometimes my mind can be spinning from the crazy day & it can be hard to fall asleep. I recently had the chance to try out the new RESCUE Sleep Liquid Melts – they are developed by a doctor: Gentle and safe – non-habit-forming with no side effects.

    Love the Rescue products – I’ll have to try the sleep aid one because sometimes my mind doesn’t want to shut off either!

    My daughter is 6 weeks old and I stay at home with her, as well. I may have to look into this. Thanks for sharing!
