So today, I am looking back at our most used items during baby’s first year! We are in the process of looking back at what we will really need and what we can part with as we prepare for baby #2 {6 months and counting!} I have made a conscious effort this past year with Brooks not to go overboard and drown him {and us!} in stuff. I try to really look at something in terms of how much use we could get out of it before deciding to bring it into our home {we have to be picky with our lack of excess storage space}. I’ve mentioned many times before, but we’ve been lucky enough to borrow so much baby gear & toys from neighbors & friends – hopefully we can swing that again for next time, but incase we can’t it’s nice to have a list of our favorite gear & products for the next little one!

And just to let you know – I’m working on a First Trimester Update & answering all the questions you have for me {keep them coming!} Be on the lookout for that post next week! Until then, check out our favorite items from Brooks’ first year & please share what you couldn’t live without those first 12 months!

My son is now 5 and #4 was his absolute favorite toy for his first year too! Some things do not change! Saving the baby blanket as a gift option, thanks!

My daughter is 7 weeks old and we COULDN’T live without the Rock N’ Play. It’s the only thing she sleeps in for a long period of time. She has acid reflux so this has been a Godsend since it allows her to sleep at an incline. Amen!
