My MIL’s Latest Stitch Fix

It’s a Stitch Fix sort of week!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been in a shopping mood! Believe it or not, sometimes I’m in more of a mood to shop than others, and usually my mood really strikes as the time to gear up for the holidays beings!

I received my latest Fix over the weekend & shared that yesterday and my just MIL came over with her latest Fix to share with me {and in turn, share on the blog!} too! I love seeing what everyone is getting in their Fixes – and let’s be honest, its so much more fun to open a box of goodies with a friend!

Fun Fact – Did you know you can give Stitch Fix gift cards as gifts this holiday season? How fun is that?! You can pick your value {as low as $20} to send the Fix – such a stylist little treat!

Ok, so back to my mother-in-law – MM’s latest Fix! She asked for versatile pieces she could wear while hanging out at home watching the grandkids as well as fun pieces she could wear to country club events this holiday season!

Here’s what she got, check it out and let us know what you think:

Pixley Bardy Cable Knit Sweater {$74}

Bardy Sweater

First up is this fun, two toned cable knit sweater. I personally love the chunkiness and the navy + cream combination, along with the stripes. I think its a stylist and cozy piece – perfect for the Fall and going into the Winter. MM likes it because its something different than she usually wears – a bit more preppy and she enjoys that!

Muse Kamira Dress {$118}

Dress

Next up, this grey + black print dress. It’s made of the softest material – sort of like a sweater – so it has a nice bit of warmth to it. I enjoy the fact that it’s neutral colors and can be personalized with a fun pop of color in jewels, shoes or even a blazer – but is totally chic looking with a jean jacket and flats. I think this one is super cute. MM likes the dress and the shape but was a little unsure about the fit.

41Hawthorn Filbert Abstract Striped Henley Blouse {$58}Filbert Abstract Blouse

Next up the zig-zag striped henley blouse – I enjoy the teal + grey color pairing. I also think it’s a nice shirt with great detail in the buttons, sleeves and the swoop in the hemline. MM thinks this top is sort of a signature look from Stitch Fix and she has similar tops like it – but she does enjoy the print!

Gentle Fawn Barboza Jacket {$98}Barboza Jacket

This jacket is nice in that the color perfectly compliments the grey in the teal blouse. Pretty sure Stitch Fix did that on purpose. I enjoy the muted color of the grey, it would pretty much go with everything – but the fabric is a little questionable because it wrinkles so easily. I hate it when that happens. It’s a fun shape and great to layer over longer tops. MM thinks its a little shape-less, it’s not a sweater or a jacket and pretty lightweight, which is hard for going into the colder weather months.

Liverpool Colleen Straight Leg Jean {$78}Colleen Straight Leg Jean

MM liked these jeans immediately – I think they fit her great and they are a great color for the Fall & Winter months. You seriously can’t go wrong with a good pair of jeans in your life! Ha!
