New Year, New {Stitch} Fix

Thank you so much to everyone who filled out my 2016 Blog Questionnaire – I loved reading about what YOU love to see posted! And I am in the process of creating a new “schedule” of sorts, where your favorite topics will be regularly appearing on certain days. Stay tuned for that and if you haven’t filled out my 2016 Blog Questionnaire – you can still do that here!

A new year, a new FIX!

I am seriously obsessed with my getting my Stitch Fix once {sometimes twice!} a month. It’s been so amazing for me lately because with the two littles, I can rarely get out to shop for myself, so telling my stylist a thing or two I am looking to add to my wardrobe and having it magically appear on my doorstep for me to try on in the comfort of my own home is all sorts of awesome.
whats inside

For this fix I requests a few specific pieces – like the navy floral blouse I received – and just asked for more bohemian styled items in general, because they tend to be more casual + my style so I was excited to see what was picked out for me!

When I opened my Fix I was excited about all the colors – since we are going into the colder weather months, I’m usually drawn towards blacks + grey + whites on repeat. Need more color in my life for sure!

Check out what I got and please let me know what you think!

Market & Spruce Brookline Mix Material Sweater {$74}

Market and Spruce Brookline Sweater

I think I sort of love this sweater, but then I’m not sure.

I LOVE the color, but I just picked up this sweater in the green pine which is very similar in weight + warmth. BUT this new sweater from Stitch Fix is awesome because of the adjustable back.

It’s got a cool zipper down the back with a flowy, light material that comes out and changes the look. It’s pretty cool and I really like it, but not sure if it’s different enough from the sweater I just got the other day {that I also love} What do you think?

Kut from the Kloth Sinclaire Floral Print Button-Up Blouse {$68}

Next up is this floral blouse that I actually requested in this Fix. I LOVE the navy and am obsessed with the floral print.

Floral prints are my jam.

BUT this is a really light fabric. Sure I could pair it with almost any color sweater/cardigan but its sort of see through. Again, an easy fix with a tank top {something I’m usually wearing anyway} – but what do you think? Keep or no?

Staccato Dinah Open Front Cardigan {$48}

Dinah Open Front cARDIGAN

Next up is this open front cardigan. You’d think I’d be obsessing over this bad boy because of the grey + burgundy colors {two of my favorites} and the aztec print {which I do tend to love} but this piece isn’t WOW-ing me. It’s similar to a few other open cardigans I’ve received in previous fixes, but it’s lighter weight, which is a good thing but I’m not in love. What do you think?

Daniel Rainn Ezzie Lace Detail Blouse {$68}

Ezzie Lace Detail Blouse

I love Stitch Fix because it totally gets me to try new things. I would never pull this piece off the rack and try it on, but I’m glad I got to try it on in my Fix because I think it’s pretty cute. I like the different patterns going on and the black piece of lace really works for a cute & fun look.

I also love how it pairs perfectly with my new boots {i got the short version of these}- my new obsession.

Margaret M Emer Printed Straight Leg Pant {$98}

Margaret M Emer Pants

Everyone is always obsessing over the Emer pants – if you are in the Stitch Fix world you would know. So I was excited to try out a pair for myself. I LOVE the fit – they are pull on, so no zippers, and they are comfortable and flattering along the waist. These are also ankle length, which are cute when paired with flats, but I think they look cute with my boots too.

I really like the pants, just not really sure about this color. I think I need a navy or green, something with some color, but a little more muted. Hoping to try these again soon in another pattern!
