This is Three – Brooks’ 3rd Superhero Birthday Bash

For a walk down memory lane, check out Brooks’ previous Birthdays:

One / Two

This weekend {actually all last week really} we celebrated little Brooks, who isn’t so little anymore! I swear he woke up older and wiser on Sunday morning. Pretty pumped for his birthday party with all his little friends – it was pretty awesome that his party was on his actual birthday, made the day even more special!

We had his birthday party at Kids at Play in East Falls – about 10 minutes from the Art Museum in Philadelphia. Finding a good birthday spot during the winter months can get tough, but this space was an awesome find!

This place is amazing – it’s an indoor playground that has something for everyone – including a zip line with no weight limit – ha! And indoor {safe} archery!

You better believe I took advantage of trying out the zip line before our guests arrived!

I don’t know who had more fun on it, Brooks or me!

Love my little three year old.

We had a ton of kids ready to PLAY, which is just what they did! Here are a few pictures of Brooks having some fun with his friends, because he was pretty much a blur running around because he was having the best time ever.

If you’ve seen Brooks + Graham’s other birthday parties, you know I am a fan of the favors – I don’t consider myself an arts & crafts person at all, BUT apparently when it comes to kids birthdays, I’m into it!

This year we had a little superhero theme and I thought it would be fun to make personalized capes for everyone that came to Brooks’ party. When they came into the party room, everyone had their own cape waiting for them on their chair. I was pretty proud of them {thanks to my amazing SIL for the help!} and the kids seem to really love them too!

Love these two little superhero’s!

I got the capes off amazon and they were so cute! Decorated with puff paint and it was such a great favor to give out that the kids will totally use again!

To go along with the theme, we needed a superhero cake – my mom picked this one up from her local Acme that she had made! Turned out really cute!

All week I would ask Brooks what he wanted for his birthday and his response was “Cake!” so he was pretty excited when it was FINALLY cake time!

There was also a fun chalkboard in the party room and everyone got to write Brooks a special birthday message! Like a giant card from everyone he loves – such a sweet little detail.

Happy Birthday sweet, little Brooks.

We love you more than you know and hope your 3rd year is filled with lots of belly laughs, smiles, growth and all the happiness in the world. xo.
