VLOG: Celebrating LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s 1st Birthday + the new Arctic Adventure – Philadelphia, PA

If you are in the Philadelphia area with kids, I’m sure you’ve heard about the amazing LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Plymouth Meeting {which is about 25 minute outside of Philadelphia!} We are HUGE fans of LEGOs in our house – the boys have recently REALLY started to get into them – and I love it! Graham will play with Duplos for a loooong time {especially the train tracks!} and Brooks is always carrying around blocks of LEGOs, his favorite are the Star Wars ones, building them up taking them apart + rebuilding. LEGOs are such great toys for kids and we love having a LEGOLAND so close by to us that all the boys LEGO dreams come to life!

We’ve actually been to LEGOLAND a few times over the past year – check out our first visit in this blog post! In fact, that was actually exactly a year ago because LEGOLAND just celebrated their One Year Birthday Celebration – which is why we got to visit last week! It was the perfect timing because we had been in the Fall for their Halloween celebrations and the boys were recently asking to go back!

The boys and I had so much fun there last week, I put together a fun little video on my YouTube Channel {be sure to Subscribe!} but you can check it out here:

My video showcases all the fun things there are to do at LEGOLAND and gives you a look at all the areas of LEGO play – including their Birthday celebrations and the Grand Opening of the new Arctic Adventure room! Brooks is 4 and Graham is 2.5 – and as you can see, there are TONS of things for littles of all ages to enjoy and explore.

Including a super fun ride as the very first thing you do as you enter LEGOLAND – The Imagination Express! It’s a ride and a game built into one.

We also love the 4-D movies {there are 3 to choose from} that run all day. It’s a nice little break from all that building to sit and watch a show!

This visit was super special because Emmet and Wyldstyle {from the LEGO Movie!} and Bertie {the LEGOLAND mascot} were also there to join the fun.

Along with a HUGE LEGO Birthday cake!

As you can see, we had an absolute blast. I think we were there for 6 hours – with a quick lunch break in between, the boys didn’t want to leave and are already asking to go back! So I’ll hopefully be able to come back soon!

Now I’d love to hear – are your littles into LEGOs? Have you been to LEGOLAND?
