VIDEO: A Day in Storybook Land – Cardiff, NJ – All the Family Fun Rides, Nursery Rhymes + Park Tour!

Every year at the start of Summer we spend a few weeks at the beach in Avalon, NJ and every year when we are down here we are always looking to have some extra fun that isn’t at the beach. When you have little kids, as much as you may want to, you can’t go to the beach EVERY day – I try to make it at least every OTHER day – ha!

One of our favorite places to go on a non-beach day that we’ve been to for the past 3 years is Storybook Land! From Avalon, it’s about 30 minutes back up the parkway, a quick + easy ride for a super fun day with the kids.

This place is a absolute GEM! My two boys are almost 4.5 and 3 in a few months and they had the best time yet at Storybook Land this year. We went before peak season really started and just about had the place to ourselves – which was amazing. My boys rode 14 of the 17 rides available with no wait – a few of the rides they just rode over and over {and over again!!} They both rode Bubbles the Roller Coaster 7 times in a row, back to back. They were in heaven.

Aside from the rides, which are a blast for the kids – there are storybook houses featuring the classic nursery rhymes throughout the park. There are little houses with a button the kids press and the stories come to life – it’s really cute and each display was so different, the boys loved checking them out.

Here’s a look at all the fun we had at Storybook Land last week – check out the video and let me know what you think!

And don’t forget to subscribe!

If you live in the area, I’d love to know if you’ve ever been to Storybook Land before or if its on your list to visit! I can’t say enough good things about it and look forward to it each summer!

Thanks so much to my friends at Storybook Land for having us! Here are a few snaps from the day from the boys favorite rides!
