Suburban Square Dressing Room Diaries: Free People, Madewell + Urban Outfitters

Recently I was invited by my friends at Suburban Square, in Ardmore, PA to stop by their open air mall + do a little shopping myself.

Obviously, I was more than happy to oblige.

I brought along my little sidekick and I was like a kid in a candy store.

So a little back story, I went to Villanova University, which is right around the corner from Ardmore, PA – a few minutes away from Suburban Square. Back when I was in college, I would frequent this shopping center – it was a great place to go. But since we live in the city now, I don’t get out here as much. This was a little throwback for me because I got to come back and I was literally blown away – SO MUCH has changed and so much is still changing – Suburban Square is absolutely beautiful.

Lots of great new stores, restaurants, parking a Farmer’s Market and even a Trader Joes!

To all my Pennsylvania friends, if you haven’t been to Suburban Square in a while, go back! It’s completely changed and completely amazing!

So back to the shopping, you can see the full list of stores at Suburban Square here, there are tons! My mission was to pick three to check out- which was very hard to do! But without question, I new my first stop – Free People!

Free People is basically my spirit animal in a store.

And I’m slowly but surely replacing my entire wardrobe with their pieces. They are so easy, beautiful and comfortable to wear. And the store is equally as beautiful too.

Let the Dressing Room Diaries begin!

First up are a few real winners.

Let’s talk about this bodysuit. Free people makes amazing bodysuits, and I’ve found them to be a great price point {especially for FP!} It comes in 8 colors, but white is amazing to layer with, especially when going to summer to Fall. I love the V-Wire of this one too!

Paired with my new favorite skirt {another surprisingly affordable FP piece!} I am obsessed with the tortoise buttons down the side.

Must.Have.

Another beautiful bodysuit, how cute are the ties at the top and the deep back?!

Seriously, at $40, this is an amazing piece to add to your wardrobe!

Paired with my new favorite skirt in another color.

Love.

Obsessed with this Friday Fever flowy raglan top. It comes in 8 colors but I loved this orange, blue and cream – it has wide sleeve cuffs and I love the ease of it, so cute for Fall!

This Saturday tee is perfection. It’s got a great V in the front, raw hem and I love the darker stitching – comes in a bunch of colors and is an easy piece to addd to your wardrobe.

I also tried this classic black mini skirt {which I loved}

And guess how many of these skirts I left with?

Seriously, it’s a must have – and it comes in 6 colors! Like me, you need them ALL!

Finally – How gorgeous is this long sleeve embroidered beauty? I love the crop top flow, paired with high waisted denim – comes in a gorgeous poppy red too!

How cute are these tie scrunchies? I’m in love.

Next up on the tour – Madewell!

I love this store for classic, everyday pieces. It never disappoints!

Side Note: Did you know you can bring in your old jeans here and they will recycle them into housing insulation?! Totally cool!

First up – SHOES!

These English Saddle woven mules are everything.

How stinkin’ cute are these half-bow sandals? They are on SALE, come in 3 colors and I LOVE this sweet pale pink.

My favorite top in the store at the moment was hands down this off the shoulder little number. It comes in 4 colors and I LOVE the flutter sleeves. Another great piece for all seasons to layer!

Madewell has TONS of great dresses, but my favorite pick in the store would have to be this side tie wrap dress. I am in love with the celestial gold color. It’s the perfect piece to dress up with heels and jewels or dress down with flats or sneakers and a denim jacket. Super comfortable too!

Madewell, I love ya!

Next up, Urban Outfitters!

I am not one to usually shop here, but I know it carries lots of my favorite brands – and it’s a little on the edgier side, but I thought it would be fun to try something new!

Lots of options in a massive store with a variety of price points. Wins all around!

How sweet is this reversible tote bag? I love the tan + black – but it also comes with a black + white option! Great piece for transitioning in the seasons!

I was also super into the lifestyle section of the store – super cute gifts, house wares and unique pieces.

The lighting in this store was the most challenging for dressing room photos {at least pretty ones} But I did pick two favorite pieces that I love – like this oversized thermal – it comes in 8 colors and prints and it’s so comfortable. I’m pretty sure every blogger on earth has posting about this beauty.

Another great item that is amazing going into the Fall is this casual + cool oversized cardigan. It comes in 8 beautiful colors and I love the dolman sleeves and deep pockets!

And finally, these embroidered mules {which are under $20} – the detail on these is beautiful and they were so comfortable!

As you can see, I had an amazing time shopping and exploring the beautiful Suburban Square. If you are local, be sure to add it to your back to school shopping list – it will have everything you need and more!

Where is your favorite place to shop? Please share!

I absolutely love Suburban Square – having moved from another state, this little area was a great find and very close to where we live. Love the stores you visited and the clothes/shoes you posted about. Great pieces moving into the fall!
