Hersheypark in the Dark – Trick or Treating + Fall Fun in Hershey, PA

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – to my boys at least! Hands down, their MOST FAVORITE time to visit Hersheypark is in October for Hersheypark in the Dark!

If you want a look at our visit last year – which the boys have pretty much talked about for the past 364 days {even though Graham didn’t get to go} check out this post, which includes a super fun video!

For this years visit, we wore our Ghostbusters finest.

We ain’t afraid of no Ghosts.

We started out the day with a visit to Chocolate World – where they were having a glorious media reception for all the bloggers + influencers in attendance. As always with Hershey, it was sweet + delicious!

The boys were in treat covered heaven and this was definitely one of those nights were they had chocolate for dinner! #sorryimnotsorry

After indulging a little too much, we made our way into the park!

The super cool part of Hersheypark in the Dark is that you get to experience all the rides + fun of Hersheypark in the DARK! The boys LOVED riding all the rides an seeing all the seasonal lights up for Fall.

But their favorite stop in the park would have to be Treatville – Trick or Treating in Hersheypark, what could be better?

It was sweet, not scary and the boys got TONS of their favorite Hershey treat, all included with the cost of admission.

As you can see, the decor was set up so festive and nice – perfect for a lovely Fall evening, which happened to be amazing weather the day we were there! They boys didn’t even need to wear their jackets!

Another thing the boys LOVE about Hersheypark in the Dark – their favorite character were dressed up too!

One of my favorite spots along the way was this super cool pumpkin patch – that was lit up + moving to Halloween music that was playing. It was mesmerizing to watch – really fun!

Aside from the Trick or Treating + amazing decor, we can’t forget about the rides! All 13 roller coasters are up and running during Hersheypark in the Dark weekend. ALL 13 coasters! Plus, exclusively for Hersheypark In The Dark, experience lights-out rides on Laff Trakk, Wildcat, Comet, and Lightning Racer® coasters.

Brooks isn’t tall enough for all of them yet, but he did ride the Laff Trakk for the first time! But let’s be honest, riding any rollercoaster at night time is pretty awesome, no matter how old or young you are!

This visit was also pretty special because we brought Gaga + Pops along for the ride!

Another part of Hersheypark in the Dark that was really cool was going to ZooAmerica at night! I don’t have any photos of our time there, because it was completely pitch black, but it was cool to BYO flashlight for a nighttime tour of Creatures Of The Night® attraction at ZooAmerica – all included in your one-price admission to Hersheypark In The Dark.

Another fun part of the evening is the nightly Hershey’s Character Glow Dance Party – every Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7:30 PM – where you can join your favorite characters and show off your sweet moves. Then be sure to check out Hops & Harvest, where you can enjoy fall beer and cider flights in the new Yuengling 1829 Patio & Pavilion, with live entertainment on Saturday evenings.

Something fun for everyone for sure!

As part of the #sweetestmoms I’m so thankful that I get to enjoy all the Hersheypark fun with my family each season! We always have such a blast and enjoy making some amazing memories together.

If you haven’t been to Hersheypark in the Dark this season – check it out this weekend and next week for sure! You and your family will have a great time!

Next time we will be back in Hershey for it’s Christmas Candylane + Sweet Lights – stay tuned for the holiday fun!
